I bank with Wells Fargo and their in-store service is alright. Some branches the tellers are annoying trying to get me to sign up for **** while others I'm in and out quickly with no bother. Mostly though, I love their online system for paying bills since it's easy to use and convenient.
On the other hand, I hated banking with Chase. When I had their credit card, it was like I had joined a spam mailing list with the amount of crap I was getting from them about their products. They also rewarded me for paying my credit card on time, by increasing my rate to a ridiculous amount.Comment

School credit union, Navy Federal Credit Union, and First TN. Main account is the school credit union, never had any issues, love their mobile site, never had any problems with customer service, and can use pretty much any credit unions ATMs with no fees.Comment

PNC Bank for my checking account.
Vanguard for my money market/savings account.
Never had a problem with either. Although I do have to keep my PNC checking account above $2500 at all times or I pay a penalty. PNC, they're okay but they could be better. They charge fees if your checking or savings go below a certain amount but they use some kind of code and don't tell you what it stands for. Once I had this "service charge type JD" and was thinking it was some sort of fraudulant charge until I went to the bank and they told me it was because I didn't have enough money in my checking account. Plus I have an ATM card with a picture of PNC Park on it and they charge a $10 annual annuity car fee just to have that.Comment

TCF now and we're extremely happy.
Before it was United Community Bank (UCB) and they were pretty ******* awful.

Unfortunately if you want any type of an interest account you have no other options.
The Affinity card is a $10 dollar annual fee. You can have the basic card for no fee, but it probably wasn't mentioned that half of that annual fee goes to soldier funds or any number of other worthy causes.Comment

TD Bank. Have a "student" checking account with them, no monthly fees, etc. Down at school, there's not many close but back home there are a ton so it's very convenient. Love being able to stop in at any branch if I need to.
Don't have a credit card yet, been thinking about it because I'd like to start building credit by using it on gas and "normal" expenses, but no luck in the application process so far. Any suggestions?Comment
