Man you guys get good stuff in the states, oil and vinegar, provolone, geez.

My signature is a Subway Melt (ham, turkey, bacon) on Honey Oat with lettuce, onions, green peps (sometimes cucumber), with Mayo and Southwest sauce.

    Damn, I want Subway now.

They aren't great, but they've got a couple footlongs that are $4 (without cheese... it's an extra $1 for the cheese). I usually get a Peperoni Sub with parmesan cheese (doesn't cost an extra $1 since it's just shredded parm), marinara sauce, and banana peppers.
that's def a western pa thing, i loved WAWA in philly and sheetz is good too. i actually prefer sheetz over subway

Footlong spicy italian on italian herb and cheese. Double meat, toasted with provolone.

Lettuce, tomato, onion, green pepper, banana pepper, and pickles. Oil and vinegar. Then salt and pepper.

Oh yeah... I kind of forget that Sheetz was regional at this point... lol

I've had WaWa, but not enough to judge it. From what I've heard, Sheetz has a much bigger menu with a lot more food, but WaWa's food is better.

Interesting link, Stumble, thanks for posting that. It's just odd that I have never see shiny meat unless it's at Subway.

Yeah, I mostly notice it with brisket at some BBQ places, brisket/steak at pho shops, and occasionally on super-thin sliced ham, though it's a little different-looking and more of just a greenish sheen. I always thought it was a sign of spoilage too but when I saw it at many different places in different situations I knew it couldn't be that.

my only gripe with subway is the use of the name big philly . i don't get why everyone has to use the name philly. its not that hard to make a cheesesteak, but there is alot of bad ones out there.

if you live in philly people will tell you. you don't have to go to gino's or pats. you can get a good cheesesteak anywhere in the city. the biggest difference is the bread. Amoroso is the best that's what makes the difference. plus you can get anything on the sandwhich you want. just not fried onions and provolone cheese and green peppers.
