My Grandpa passed away earlier this afternoon. He was in the hospital since last Friday after breaking his hip during a fall. The very next day he developed pneumonia that progressively got worse that eventually took his life. I was blessed enough to be by his side as he took his final breath.
Pretty tough to take, and been a rough week as ever since last Sunday its been pretty bleak as we were told that it would only be a matter of time before he would pass away, because he was not responding to the medication and wasn't strong enough to fight it off. I'm a roller coaster of emotions right now(like a woman on PMS
), and just keep thinking this can't be real.
I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and please hold your loved ones close and tell them that you love'em, because tomorrow is never guaranteed.
