I've been successful on my most recent resolutions (2008-stop watching reality shows and 2009-read at least one book a month). This year I'm going to try to do one volunteer activity per month, things like volunteering at a foodbank, donating blood, etc.

Re: New Year's Resolutions
1. Get back in shape. In 09' I gained a lot of weight and was just lazy. I'm going to start p90x again for the 2nd time.
2. Cut out soda. This ties into resolution number 1. I swear I'm addicted to soda like people are addicted to alcohol. I drink it constantly. It will not only save me money but help me cut the pounds and keep my teeth healthy.Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment

Re: New Year's Resolutions
That was a big one for me too. In November I stopped buying regular soda's and switched to diet. I believe that's the main reason that I've lost my first 5-10 pounds. Well, I also I used to eat fast food 4-5 times a week now, I've cut it to about once a week.1. Get back in shape. In 09' I gained a lot of weight and was just lazy. A) Get out of CC debt by the end of the year.
B) Do not buy a single pair of sneakers in 2010 (this means every bday/xmas gift I get will be sneakers lol)."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: New Year's Resolutions
1. Save some more money. I'm doing OK in that department now but I know that I can improve and stop spending money on little things that add up.
2. Gain 5-10 pounds of muscle.
3. Try to get another (or a better) job. I'm always looking to improve in this area and never want to get stuck in a rut.New Jersey Devils- 1995, 2000, 2003

Re: New Year's Resolutions
1. Save more/less impulse buying (cheap games just because they are cheap) and less being spoilt (buying a new iPod because of a new feature even though my old one works fine.
2. Eat healthier.
3. Play more of my 91 PS3 games... (and don't buy too many more)
4. Stress less
5. Keep in contact with family who I'd difted away from.
6. Stay more positive
7. Get back into jogging/running.Comment

Re: New Year's Resolutions
You better go out with a bang and order like 3 pairs tonight, then.
My goal is to gain 25 pounds. Possibly more if I reach that goal and am not satisfied with my bulk yet.Comment

Re: New Year's Resolutions
#1 - have a full blown 6-pack and be 6-3, 200 lbs. I'm at 214 right now and only have a little definition. I need 8 weeks to do it if I don't have any setbacks.
#2 - Find a way to stop my receding hairline from creeping back. Damn you dad I never knew it's probably your fault!
#3 - Dress to impress whenever I leave the house
Basically just work on self image. I just feel better when I look good.Last edited by Guest; 01-02-2010, 11:07 AM.Comment

Re: New Year's Resolutions
This is mine too. I'm doing P90X/changing eating habits and my wife is doing it too so we can both be in better shape and be better role models for our children. I am going on an alcohol ban for 3 months as well.
I turn 30 in July and want to be in the best shape of my life by then.Comment
