        Absolute silence. I hate when I'm in the library and some kid comes in blasting his iPod to the point where I can hear the lyrics to the song. That's about the only thing I need to study efficiently.

            Only want music when I'm writing a paper.

            Need quiet when trying to study. I like studying with a partner. You definitely know the material when you can teach it to someone else.

            Which is funny b/c i hated trying to study or work with other people in high school.

                I throw some John Mayer on or something else that's really mellow (currently I'm into She and Him). It keeps me from going insane while staring at boring books or code (web design classes).

                            Music that I'm familiar with, so it sort of fades into the background. Need a good set of headphone. Drink and a snack.

                                    I don't really study except for finals, but when I do I usually like peace and quiet. Don't really like music because I'll concentrate on the words, so if I use noise I'll turn on a box fan or something.

                                        I don't study often, but when I do, I go through quite a bit of coffee. Also, I need some background noise. Whether it is ESPN or just having my iTunes library open and shuffling...

                                                        I used to study when I was in middle school, but I've rarely studied since getting to high school and I've made straight As, so it's all worked out well. I'll probably have to study some in college, though.
