No. If it gets too hard, it's impossible to spread. Besides, every jar I've read says that refrigeration is not necessary.

Like a few others, I eat natural peanut butter, so I have to put it in the fridge.

I say no to my fridge because it would kill me, but I also say no to others as well. I don't often hear of peanut butter in the fridge, even when my dad sneaks it in the house and my mom kicks him out for it.

I might have to try this organic peanut butter I'm trying to add more organic foods into my diet.

It actually tastes like peanuts, which is a change. I normally ate Skippy/Jif for the longest time and still like it, but I Adams' Chunky Natural is very good. It is harder to spread (mainly due to being cold, but also when it's absorbed most of the oil), but they make no-stir ones if you don't like the whole oil separation thing.

It's great for baking and using in other things because it actually has a peanut flavor instead of just a vaguely sweet nutty taste like big brand peanut butter. I always salt my PB-based sandwiches, so that helps the natural stuff taste better because salt makes other flavors more pronounced. The big brands are saltier and sweeter (just like soda and basically everything else mass produced in America) so they're a decent bit worse for your health overall than the natural stuff.

It's really good. It's just hard to spread. That's all. So if you're like me and you only eat PB&J's as a quick snack or "on the go" snack then you'll probably prefer the other pantry stored peanut butter. Takes 10 years to spread the organic kind without tearing the bread. lol.

Considering I have Hunt's plastic bottle in the fridge that says just that, I disagree.

I eat Adam's Natural Chunky peanut butter, but I don't have any problems with spreading it on the bread. The only time I have an issue is when I get towards the bottom of the jar and there wasn't enough oil mixed in down there.

Maybe I didn't mix it very well. I have the Smuckers kind that I posted on the 2nd page. This stuff is really good though regardless.

Organic peanut butter should be a staple of everyones's diet, and especially any athlete, IMO.

                                why?

it is super calorie dense and has no carbs which athletes need
