The important question that needs to be answered:

Have you converted your family from the error in its ways?

Why put it in the fridge ?

It just tears up the bread.

For a good part of my life a I put it in the fridge, then got married and was asked....why? I didn't from that point on, and as it turns out, I lived, and the peanut butter survived not being in the fridge lol.

Like someone else says, it doesn't tear the bread now.

            Re: Peanut Butter

I put it in the fridge. I also put my bread in the freezer. When I make my sandwiches it doesn't tear. Because the bread is frozen.

When it is finally time to eat said sandwich (after getting some chips or other side components to my tasty meal), it is thawed.

Exactly! Ketchup in the fridge, peanut butter in the cupboard!

PB stays on the shelf, right next to the ketchup.

I do put my Resse cups and fun size snickers in the freezer though.

                      Re: Peanut Butter

I use all natural peanut butter where you have to mix it up. I used to put it in the fridge, but once you got to the bottom, there'd be no oil left and it's just dry crap. My brother told me he doesn't put his in the fridge and it helps with that, so for now I'm leaving it out to see how that goes.

Well I've never seen a sticker that said "For kids age 2-12" or whatever on a jar of peanut butter before.
