I'm hoping the soreness subsides a bit by then. I'm looking forward to Cardio Recovery.

I threw all the DVD's on the iPad and I now workout while outdoors in the park on a nice day. If you're someone who is really self-conscious it isn't for you but I enjoyed doing the jumps and such while outside. A nice change of pace...

The main thing is to keep yourself hydrated, I drink 1 gallon of water per day (pretty much all that I drink besides the adult drinks). Don't skip the cool down stretches also.

It's probably eaiser on your knees being outside with all the jumping you have to do and plus you may motivate someone to want to get in shape.

That was what I did the first time around. Water helps immensely since you sweat so much.

Can I be honest without getting flamed?

I must've seen the infomercial a thousand times, and each time, I find it hard to believe Shaun T got that ripped just from this program.(Oh, along with "hip hop abs", lol)

I know a guy at work who just completed this, and while he lost his "beer belly", he by no means has a six pack, nor is he Ahnold-like ripped. He's sore as hell, though, and now moves a bit slower while working. He's taking a long break before starting it again; like a month or two break...

I knew guys who "lived at the gym" and even they've told me it took YEARS of strict disciplinary diet and exercise to get the six-pack abs they had,(not merely 90 days) as well as the extreme definition everywhere else.

P90X seems to be legit, as it includes weight training. Neither seem for me, as I'm so out of shape, "you can donate my body to science fiction" (Thanks Rodney Dangerfield!)

Anyway, this is just my opinion. As I've said, a co-worker finished and isn't ready to compete for Mr. Olympia, lol....

I dunno.
I got pretty "ripped" and had a real nice 6 pack after about 45 days.

I started this up at the end of last month, completed Day 25 today. I've stuck to the diet 100% outside of three "cheat" meals over the 3.5 weeks. I'm not trying to lose any weight(I've actually gained a pound since starting it), just trying to jumpstart getting back into shape after a lazy six month stretch without driving 30 minutes round trip every day to the gym.

Definitely feeling much more athletic than I did Day 1. Cardio-wise I can keep up with all the workouts now except Pure Cardio which I always fall apart at the 8:30 mark(I think that's Power Squats lol). My main issues is my legs are completely wiped out, especially my quads. Gotta take breaks during the workouts because of the burn. It's probably normal, but it has me worried after hearing about how insane Month 2 is...

Yup. I'm really tempted to start another run through with Insanity while trying to focus on better form. My issue is being worried that I'm not pushing myself hard enough if I am so worried about form. My knees are what stopped me last time.

Perhaps fish oil will help with the knee pain if it arises again. I LOVE the workouts, especially the sense of accomplishment I got from finishing one of these workouts. But the pain I was in halfway through month 2 was too much.

I'm on Day 50 now and really can feel the difference. My cardio has improved so much over the last seven weeks I can't believe it.

Today was Fit Test Day which is my favorite workout. I definitely feel I push myself hardest for it because I'm battling to beat my last number.

As much as I'm enjoying the results, I am looking forward to being done with it in a couple weeks. Insanity is great at what it does, but I'm kind of getting bored with it. I was just looking for a jump start after a lazy winter(and really, a lazy 18 months lol)...but now I'm ready to start running again.

So much truth. I went through one round of Insanity, but knee pains are preventing me from running through it again. Now I've gotta find a different workout to do because my knees apparently can't handle the high impact. Sucks, because I LOVED Insanity, and wanted to go on to Asylum too.

I'm looking to supplement my MWF weight lifting with some type of cardio exercises. I've been running a couple times a week, but running just isn't my thing even though I force myself to do it anyway.

I'm curious about this system. Is it something that you can use to supplement or is it really the only thing you need to do? What other cardio exercises would you guys recommend if this isn't suited to be a supplement to other routines?

If you want to supplement your workout with cardio, using the Pure Cardio workout from Insanity would be a good choice. It's a killer 40 or so minute workout (including warm up/cool down). Just have a puke bucket nearby if you've never done it before.

Is that something totally separate from the original Insanity program or included in it or both?

It's included in the program. For $20, you can buy Insanity:Fast and Furious. It's basically a shortened down version of the Insanity workouts (it's only 20 minutes long), but it's still a killer workout. Plus it gives you an idea of the moves and intensity of the actual Insanity workout.

I bought Fast and Furious and tried it out today. I think I'm going to like it. The guy in the back is a total wuss, though. I felt like I spent about a third of the time rewinding/pausing to get the moves down, but man sweat was rolling off of me anyway.

For those of you who have completed the 60 day program, what do you do afterwards?
