Idiots. Do you think these students will give these teachers any respect ever again? If my teacher did that at a school pep ralley I would laugh of course but wouldn't be able to take it seriously.

What if 2 students did this during lunch or something? I guarantee you teachers would be all over them and they would face punishment. The teachers being authority figures should face more punishment.

Being from Winnipeg, that is known as one of the more crazy schools (lots of drugs and stuff). I was reading an article earlier about the student who shot the video didn't want anything to happen of it, and all the students think the teachers should be brought back.

This is very inappropriate. I don't know why people would ever consider this okay, especially for high school students (people under 18 years of age). They are the role models and they are setting an example. No good could come of this. What if the boys then feel like they can come onto their female teacher in or after class? What if a girl's parents feels like one of the male teachers isn't capable of teaching their child after seeing such actions?

This should not ever happen in a high school pep rally. Even fake "grinding" would be just as bad. These are teachers, and this is not the subject matter they should be teaching. The last thing this generation needs is more of this kind of influential garbage, as if MTV, rap music, and bad parenting wasn't doing its part already. I always thought school was a safe bet to learn the right things, and now this happens.

I see how you guys see this one way, and I see it the same way as you guys with the story about those two female teachers that the custodian walked in on... but this is a public school assembly and this is in front of teenagers. I understand this may be something they haven't seen or done before, but leave it up to those times for them to experience it, not in school. These teachers should be rescinded.

One of the least thought out arguments that can be levied. An era has nothing to do with the allowance of a certain type of morality. You don't think people were "loose" centuries ago? Ever heard of Caligula? Regardless of the time period it's about the morality a society chooses to embrace. Just wait til you have a daughter.

I'd probably say it is safe to say that NOBODY in this thread is against lap dances. However, there is a time and a place for everything.

Fun is fun, but teachers shouldn't be lap dancing at school...just not appropriate or professional...

This is exactly why teachers need to be paid like lawyers...

We'd have much smarter folks teaching our kids then, wouldn't we?

                  Come to think of it...

If we paid teachers like lawyers and lawyers like teachers...

Well that would pretty much solve everything...

I see why people could be offended, but see why it shouldn't be such a big deal. Everyone was having fun and acting crazy at a freaking pep rally. It's not like they were doing it in the cafeteria during lunch.

There is a problem with it, as a teacher you are suppose to be a professional. And I don't mean a professional stripper. This was wrong and they will learn from it.

It has nothing to do with that.

Teachers are payed to instruct the students not give each other lap dances. That kind of behavior is just unacceptable. I wouldn't be surprised to see them lose there jobs. As I'm sure there are more than a few parents that are pretty upset that that type of behavior is being displayed by people that are supposed to be in charge of giving there kids an education.

I mean really, what were they thinking. If they're giving each other lap dances outside of school, then alright. But to do it at a Pep Rally? Common sense tells you thats not a good idea.

Seriously, fun or not I could understand the "they aren't doing anything wrong" argument if this occured off-campus but this happened on school grounds. It's just not appropriate.
