Re: Hawaii
Well, I've been back from my vacation for almost a month now and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who contributed in this tread. Plus, I wanted to give a update for the rest of you who may want to go.
Here's how I would rank my Top 10 thing's we did while we were there.
10. Pearl Harbor- While PH was very interesting all I could think about was what we could be doing instead. Also, there are four parts to PH and each on takes about 2 hours so, we only went to the submarine and called it a day. If your an historical buff you'll love it. If not, I'd still recommend seeing for the history but, you'll enjoy other thing more.
9. Beach Day- We only really spend one day laying out at the beach. While it was fun, we figured we can go to the beach anytime since we're only 3 hours away from Gulf Shores and Pensacola.
8. Botanical Garden's- We went on a weekend early around 10am and we were pretty much the only people in the park which was awesome.
Spoiler
7. Manoa Falls- We went on our last day before our flight so, we were in a rush the entire time. I would have probably liked it a lot more if you could actually get in the waterfall but, you couldn't due to rock-slides. Nevertheless, it was still very beautiful and I would definitely do it again.
Spoiler
6. Hiking Diamondhead- This was a 2 mile hike up a mountain so, we knew we were in for a good workout. My biggest complaint about DH is the parking. Their parking lot is very small so, you have to get there really early in the morning to get a spot. If you don't you can easily add another mile to that hike. But, even after all that getting to the top of the mountain is very rewarding. I'm glad we accomplished it.
Spoiler
5. Sea Life Park- This park has a very beautiful setting but, it's really small especially in comparison with Sea World. We swam with the dolphin's which was an awesome experience but, it was quite costly when considering the cost (about $300 for 45 minutes).
Spoiler
4. Catamaran- This was an awesome experience just pure fun from the beginning to the end. If you like dancing, food and having a good time then this is for you.
Spoiler
3. Luau- We went to the Paradise Cove Luau. This was also just a great time from start to finish. From all the crafts and activities you get to do from the dinner and show it is an outstanding time.
Spoiler
2. Mountain Biking- This was probably the hardest thing we did but, it was also, the most rewarding. You basically, get to bike through the mountains and see everything from WW II bunker's to famous movie locations (50 First Dates, Godzilla, Tear's of the Sun, Mighty Joe Young, Lost were all filmed there). I strongly urge you to do this but, keep in mind that the only have this on Wednesday's and Saturday's (although I'm sure it's subject to change).

1. Snorkeling- This was the first time I had ever been snorkeling. I first I was tentative about trying it but once I tried it and absolutely loved it. We went out and bought our own snorkeling gear and just drove around the island looking for places to snorkel. Our favorite places was Sharks Cove. Hanauma Bay is the most popular spot but, we didn't get to go because it's another place with a small parking lot so, you must get there at the crack of dawn in order to get to go.
We stayed on Oahu the entire time and rented a car so, that we could come and go as we pleased. Also, we found that you save a **** load of money by doing thing's on your own rather than going by the hotel brochure's. For example: we saved about $40 on the PC Luau because we got our ticket's online and used a coupon rather than getting the price from the brochure. The only differnce was that the brochure provided a bus.
Anyways, if any of you have any questions or want to see any pics of the thing's we did just let me know and I'll be glad to help.
Thanks again,

Re: Hawaii
Added some pics in the spoiler tags. Although, I don't have any snorkeling pics right now. As we used an under water camera for those and I don't have a scanner right now.My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague
