Re: Facebook Privacy Issue.
I actually like getting tagged in pictures. I'm always pretty pumped about notifications. Not all my pictures are perfect, but it's still all good in my book.
I haven't had a lot of issues with applications. I believe I had to select them on my homepage and choose "Ignore" when they first began popping up, but that was pretty easy. . .and they haven't really been an issue since. Every now and again, a new app. will show up via a friend on my homepage and if I don't like reading about it (Farmville, Mafia, etc.) I'll just hide it for the rest of time.
I find Facebook a fun and interactive way to keep up with my friends and family. With the vast majority of them no longer within an arms reach of my current home, it's a great way to keep in touch.
If I had one gripe, it'd be that they recently deleted Facebook Lite, which was an easy-to-load and simplified verson of the real site. It worked wonders for people like me who often operate on a slow connection.Comment

VDusen, you are swimming against the tide with your post, most folks today seem to just enjoy mocking things like Facebook, despite the fact that most everyone uses it. Kind of like how a movie or a band can be immensely popular but yet everyone mocks it and says how stupid it is.Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Security concerns over Facebook have been raised yet again after a security consultant collected the names and profile URLs for 171 million Facebook accounts from publicly available information. The consultant, Ron Bowes, then uploaded the data as a torrent file allowing anyone with a computer connection to download the data.
I think this means everyone should have their facebook on private if they dont already.MLB: Texas Rangers

In one of my interviewing courses the professor said that no matter our privacy setting bigger companies still has the possibility of looking at our full profiles, including pictures that are no longer on the profile.

This has probably been said since this is a 3 month old thread, but if you click on Profile at the top and go to where you can see your profile you can delete notification post without deleting the actual content.Comment
