    No "beetroot"?!? I'm disappointed.

All you mayo haters are suckas. You're probably hating on store-bought bullcrap mayo anyway... the real thing with a dab of Dijon mustard is one of the best things in the world.

I'm still hooked on it for fries also (from my trips to Amsterdam)... it has to be the real deal mayonnaise though, the fluffy white garbage we have in stores doesn't work at all for fries. I also recently made an eggless milk mayo from Portugal, which tasted mostly of lemons, garlic, and white pepper.. good stuff. It's basically just milk whipped to hell with lemon juice, garlic, salt, and white pepper... good stuff, nice cool topping for roasted vegetables.

I thought about this a bit. instead of having the cheese, bacon and mayo, you could just put lettuce and tomato on it and it would be healthy. there is no bun involved so that would cut the calories down.

There is NO WAY for ANY variation of that sandwich to be healthy. Grilled or fried.

That's what I was thinking. I eat the low-carb grilled chicken sandwich from Hardee's every once in a while. It fits my low-carb diet perfectly.

Do your research on KFC's "Grilled" chicken and you will see where I am getting at. Their "Grilled" Chicken is one of the biggest jokes of the fast food nation in the past decade.

If you tossed the bacon, cheese and sauce in favor of lettuce and tomato between two grilled chicken breasts, it wouldn't be that terrible for you.

190 calories per grilled chicken breast. So almost 400 total.
Carbohydrates would be at a minimum as well since neither breast would have carbs.
It'd have 12 grams of fat total. You could do worse, especially in fast food. That would be about 18% of suggested daily value.

The salt would kill you though.

You'd hit 60% of your suggested value of cholesterol and a whopping 1100 mgs of sodium, or 46$ suggested daily value.

Two grilled chicken breasts would be fine. But not 2 of THEIR grilled chicken breasts.

All those numbers I presented are right off the KFC website.

Like I said, it wouldn't be terrible for you. You'd have to really watch your salt intake the rest of the day though.

                                mayo is the base for:

thousand islands dressing, ranch dressing, caesar salad, tartar sauce, hollandaise sauce and more.

so that's big mac's, various salad's (who doesn't like caesar?) fish and chips, eggs benedict and so on.

Mayonaise is an egg-yolk and oil emulsion with some vinegar. The one certainty is it's not good for you in big doses too frequently.

                                I can't believe this blasphemy though! .... a mayo *****!

seriously though, do you like any of those variants? It's hard to believe someone wouldn't like caesar salad. I make a kick-*** one too.
Out of all of those I only like ranch dressing, but since I now know there's mayo in it, I'm probably going to have to cut it out of my diet.
