2006 Rose Bowl: Texas vs Southern Cal

Posting from my blackberry, so I can't respond as it takes about 10 minutes to refresh the thread.

Few things:
The TV timeouts are brutal. Way too long, I forgot about that in big Bowl games

USC has had opportunities but hasn't taken advantage. Texas has taken advantage of their opportunities.

Texas clearly looks like the better team from my seat. Just more fundamentally sound, quicker to the ball. USC's tackling has been atrocious.

If I were Texas I would run the hurry up all game long, USC has no answer for it. When they slowed the tempo down that's when USC stopped them, USC hasn't showed any signs of slowing them down when they push the tempo.

Same crappy playcalling inside the opponent's 30 for USC as it's been all year. The bludgeon teams with White and Bush, and then try to get cute. Why throw that wheel route to Smith in the endzone, Texas had shown no signs of stopping the inside run game that entire series.

I am looking forward to a good 2nd half, but USC needs to make adjustments and get their composure or UT will run them off the field.

BTW, I am currently trying to get the Sword from Tommy Trojan, so I can jab my eyes out, this halftime show is killing me.

Interesting how, when posting from your Blackberry, it's showing you as being from the same IP address you use when you're at home.

Your wireless router must be pretty damn powerful....

Can't believe i didn't find this part of the forum until now! Just read through some of the posts "God of Life" made...wow...i really can't even comprehend how someone who was two years older than me (I would of been 12 four years ago, he proclaimed to be 14) could of been as illiterate and stupid as if he was a 6 year old lol. Still not sure if he was a very intelligent troll portraying what alot of kids in society have become, or if he was genuine lol. If he was genuine, he was the epitome of dumb.

Does TJ even visit these boards anymore? I haven't seen a post from him in what seems like years...I remember he got married and then poof...he was gone.
