My sleeping schedule is terrible as I get around 3-5 every night on weekdays because of school, and then from Friday to Saturday I just crash for 12+ hours. Just call me a procrastinator extraordinaire as no matter how tired I am during the week, I still won't go to sleep any earlier than about 2 am.

Re: Sleep
Usually try for 7-9, but I probably only get 6 or 7 a night. I can usually function throughout the day pretty easily, sans maybe a half hour or an hour here or there where I am exhausted. Usually get a quick second wind, though, before I go to bed.Comment

Re: Sleep
9 or 10 hours. It helps when your class doesn't start until 1:30 the next day, so you can stay up until 2 and sleep until noon if you feel like it.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

If I get less than 10 hours of sleep, I'm useless, so I try to get at least that much. I got 13 hours today so I'm feeling pretty good.Comment

Re: Sleep
If I get 8 hours, then I'm good for the day, don't feel tired, and normally will not take a nap. If I get 7, then sometimes I feel tired but normally still don't nap. Anything less than that and I will have to nap in the evening time after getting home from work. I remember back in college those numbers used to be 10 to 11 hours on avg a night. My football alliances: E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles AND Hokie Hokie Hokie HiComment

Re: Sleep
The thing that pisses me off is that it doesn't seem to matter how much sleep i have i still have to drag myself out of bed in the morning.
During the week i usually get between 7-9 hours and a bit more occasionally on the weekend if my 18 month old decides to sleep in. The thing is i can set my alarm for 5am to get up and workout or sleep until 8am and i still feel tired when i get up. I think i'm just destined to never be a "morning person".Comment

Am I the only one mildly amused by ODogg giving health tips?
I get 5-7 hours. I don't understand how anyone could work and get 10 hours of sleep. To wake up at 6, that's going to bed at 8 PM. On a working schedule, that would give you roughly 2 hours of awake home time per day.Comment

Re: Sleep
You're still very young. Wait till you get older and are up early every morning for work...and I realize I'm not the norm when I work 7am-6-7pm, but still. Your body will adjust and you'll get used to it. Plus like I mentioned above, there just isn't enough hours in the day to get everything done sleeping 10+ hours IMO (or at least for me there isn't).
I don't have any kids yet, but it's even worse after that from what I've been told. 5 hours is a lot. Baby's up all night, but work still comes calling the next morning.
