    Both.

I keep great/classic games just for nostalgic purposes.

Every other game I trade in.

Trade-in. I only buy 5-7 games per year and most of them are annually released sports games so there's no need to keep the older version. I never get much for them, but it's more than I'd get if they were sitting on a shelf collecting dust.

Re: Do you trade-in your games or keep them?

I keep them. I only purchase sporting titles (Madden, NCAA, Tiger Woods Golf etc) and whilst I am not likely to play old editions, I like to keep them if only to keep the collection going dating back to the first title releases.
My teams: Leeds United, Central Coast Mariners, Denver Broncos, Florida Gators, Florida Marlins, Miami Heat, Brisbane Broncos.
My screen-name is a combination of my favourite college football player in Tim Tebow and my favourite ever Bronco, Terrell Davis (30).

If I didn't have a problem with not owning my games, I would have probably signed up for Gamefly a while ago.

I used to keep them. Then I found goozex a year and a half ago, and now I trade everything in. I've played games which I never would have otherwise once I started trading games in.

I keep mine, I don't see the point of trading in a game just ot get $5-10 for it.

I usually trade them in and I buy used games. Unless it is a game I really like.

I find it hard to believe some plays EVERY game they've ever bought.

I have some PAL PS2 games back home (or should I say, at my parents' house). I'm not sure if it's legal to send it here, but if it was, would stores here accept PAL games?

I can't speak for others, but personally I do, mainly for nostalgic purposes or because the latest version of whatever game I have I don't like(such as NCAA B-Ball 10.. Don't like it and I'm still playing CH2K8). Heck there are a lot of folks that still play NFL 2k5 because they don't like Madden. Just because it's old doesn't mean you can't play it. I don't go too far with it though. I do trade in most of my games. I only keep the great/classic ones.

And I'm sure a lot of people just like to collect games. I have a friend who has every Madden dating back to '02. He doesn't play them anymore, but he keeps them as a collection.

I wait for a special and only if I have a replacement game to fill my needs. I haven't been able to turn in CH2k8
                              Gaming hard since 1988

I have won like 25 Super Bowls in Madden so I am kinda a big deal.

I've always gotten more than $15 bucks on Ebay. You just have to be smart about it. Like I said, the key is knowing when to sell. And even if you trading in at GS, the key is to wait until the have an extra 50% on trade-in's and you should get a decent amount.

Exactly. How many people who have Madden 10 have played 08 or 09 since buying 10? IMO, it's just a waste of space in my entertainment center and the old games have no nostalgic value for me. So, selling is the obvious choice.
