My grandpa gets in town today to visit for the weekend. Saturday my parents, grandpa, and I are going to a casino (he likes casinos) and then dinner. Sunday's a pool party at my parents apt complex. I usually get a really nice flower vase with flowers and a nice card, we don't do expensive gifts usually. My mom likes it and I get the "awww" factor.

yeah it's lookin like flower and a card for my mom. Also probably an early sunday morning breakfast before the crowds. I think I'm goin with a nice picture of the kids and a card for the wife.

Although she wants these dance lessons she's been buggin me about. The problem is they involve me...

I asked my mom what she wanted yesterday and what's her response? She wants her house cleaned.. Oh joy. So I'll be cleaning toilets and shower tubs and vacuuming for a good part of the day on Mother's Day. I'll probably stop by and get her a card and some chocolate as I do every year too.

Flower and a card. I'm thinking that my dad will be grilling, so I'll definitely be staying for dinner.

i don't celebrate the generic mothers day , i celebrate it on my birthday as it's the anniversary of the day my mom became a mother . we do something she picks on my birthday & it seems more personal this way

We'll be out of town so my wife will get whatever fancy breakfast her company provides followed by whatever they serve for their formal night (our son will be on his own so it'll be just us).

As for my Mom, she'll get a belated card. We are flying her out in June so she can see her only grandchild, though.

My wife loves this so ill be preparing a nice meal for her, making a menu so she'll know whats all on the plate, some dessert, and letting her relax so ill take care of everything.

My mom is no longer alive so I cant do anything there.
