Sunday dinner with my mothers side of the family(30+) at my aunts house. After that stopping by the ex's to see my daughter. Probably take them out for ice cream or something.

Well I pretty much got a nice card for my mother. I will be going to church with her in the morning. Ain't been to church much in the past few years. I should be ashamed of myself for not going like I should. Then I will eat lunch with her and spend the day been with her. Overall I love my mother so much. Don't know what I would do without her.

I too go the card and call route. Being broke and 2/3 the way across the country doesn't help matters either.
I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

LOL join the party bro. It seems that now days you can't afford to do anything. Price or gas, food, and everything else keep going up. That's why I stay broke all the time.

Going out to lunch at our favorite pizza place. Not getting anything for her or my Grandma because they're picky and pretty much get something on their own if they want it.

Got flowers (and nice vases) for both my mom and grandma. Also, got my mom a piece of art work for her bedroom and a Lennox vanity dish for her bathroom.

Also got both Mother's Day cards.

Ugh, I'm too predictible. Did the exact same thing this year as I did last. Although last year I got my wife a card, this year she got a Buster Posey T-shirt. But I did the same BBQ with Salmon...

For my mom, my kids made her stepping stones with their handprints. Good stuff.
