I used to complain about her calling her sister 50 times a day to talk about any and everything until her sister went on a vacation for a month. Then I became her sister, almost every single phone call would start with a "hey" and a brief pause because she did not actually have anything to say, but just wanted to call me up. Then she would start talking about some mundane stuff that's going on with her. I mean why do I really care if the same commercial is on two different radio stations at the same time, if Julie is wearing the same ugly top from two days ago but w/ a sweater on top this time, or what we want to eat three days from today so she can start preparing.

My wife is the same way. We find plenty to talk about. Politics, job venting, our son, future plans, but sometimes there's just nothing to talk about. That's ok...but not for her...she'll be like "Boopy talk to me", this is when I'm typically on OS or going over my fantasy baseball/basketball/football rosters (depending on the time of year). I'll ask her, what do you want to talk about, she'll say "I don't know", and I'm just like......

Oh...and like clockwork, every FREAKING time I'm on the laptop she asks me to google something. I, on the otherhand, never ask her to do something while she is on the CPU.....would rather not list the google searches she has me do because they would violate OS TOS.

My ex and her mom used to talk to you while walking away. they wouldn't raise their voices so you could hear them either.


Also, I have no problem sitting in silence. She used to hate it and would actually get mad when we'd be in the car and I had nothing to say.

Do any of your wives go crazy when there is a sale on? I'll be at home and my wife will call and say. "They have our shampoo on sale, how many bottles should I get?' No matter what number I tell her she'll multiply it by like 8.

We have enough dishwasher tabs to do a load of dishes every day for about 3 years. Ridiculous.

And don't even get me started on coupons. My wife is OBSESSED with them. Sure I love to save money, who doesn't. I just don't want to spend 15 minutes down each aisle in the grocery store so you can rifle through your heap of coupons to save 15 cents on wax beans. And she takes way too many coupons. Alot of the time she takes the entire thing, nearly rips the bracket of the shelving. We'd have to buy a box of fish every week for 52 straight weeks to use up these coupons before they expire. Utter madness! LOL!

We're both kind of obsessed with saving money and coupons. The best gift to get her is a little plastic organizer. The wife and I have one, so you don't have to go through heaps of coupons as they are all organized..

It's worth it, man. Our last bill was 300 and went down to 250 with coupons..

My gf will say or do something that she KNOWS pushes my buttons.....then proceed to ask me if anything is wrong.

Her car doesn't have automatic locks so she checks to make sure all the doors are locked. She'll see me check to make sure the door is locked and still come check it.

Seriously, you don't trust me to lock the door.

Lastly, her dog is always there. Not that I don't like her dog....but it doesn't have to be in the middle of everything we do. We'll literally not go out to eat b/c she doesn't want to leave the dog in the car or apt. by itself.

She recently got a GPS...it spends most of it's time recalculating.

Also, I can't hang anything on wire hangars, only plastic. She is like a wire hanger Nazi out to rid the earth of wire hangars.

LOL, my wife is the same way. She'll call me at work, "What are you doing?" What do you think I'm doing? I'm working!

Like I said previously she speaks to her mother endless times in the run of a day. Half the time she'll pick up the phone and just say "yeah" instead of hello. It's like they are just picking right up where they left off. It reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where Jerry dates one of George's ex girlfriends:

"I just pick up the phone and she's in the middle of a sentence."

The thing is, she has her own laptop. Or could use the desktop.

The laptop is a whole other issue. Everytime, and I mean everytime, I get on the laptop she asks me if she can use it. When I get on the laptop I check my usual 3 or 4 sites, including OS, and that is about it. 10-15 minutes at most usually. When she gets on the laptop it is a 2 hour ordeal everytime.

Also, she actually gets mad when I am looking at the laptop AND watching something on TV. Just last night I got out the computer and was watching the Lakers-Celtics game. She asks to use the laptop and I tell her I'll be done in a few minutes. She then proceeds to change the channel to the freakin Real Housewives of NY. I didn't get mad because I could've just gone into my man cave and turned on that TV, plus it was the first half of the game and I wasn't super into it at the time. But by golly if I turned the Real Houswives while she was on the computer, I'd be one rude guy.

The bottom line is....ALL WOMEN ARE FREAKIN CRAZY!! And there is absolutely no way you can argue logically with them, you just can't.

My girlfriend has a little chihuahua dog named Lily. She always tells her to get off her lap and go play...then the dog jumps down...all the while my g/f is watching it...she'll go to run off and do her thing and Stefanie will yell at her to come back...or "where is the dog??" as if in a panic if she can't see her.

I'm like, that poor dog must be so confused. I mentioned once, just leave her alone, she doesn't know whether she's coming or going and Stefanie just kind of gave me a slight glare so I gave up on it...LOL

My girlfriend and I were trying to figure out what to do one night. She told me to pick. So I picked three things that she could choose from. 1. Movie 2. Dinner and a movie 3. Movie at my house + dinner

She chose option #1...During the movie she was like I'm starving! That instantly made me mad, but I was like lets wait til' after. She got infuriated for no reason...She didn't say anything but I could tell something was up. When I took her to Chilli's on my account btw she looked at the menu and she was like "I'm actually not that hungry" I was like are you freaking kidding? I hate when girls tell you what they want, but never act on it. It's like they want to get in a fight with you.

PROJECTRIPCITY _ That reminds me of how my g/f always tells me to pick the movie/tv show we are going to watch. Then she rejects every one of them until I pick one of her shows or movies. The ones she's seen a million times! Yet she will ask me on some shows "have you seen it?" and if I say yes she'll reject it because I've already seen it, LOL..

The other night I said "well lets just watch a few minutes of Taxi Driver" and see what you think...then we watched the whole thing. Heh....she actually liked it as well...but whenever I suggest movies next time she'll reject them all, as always.

This thread is awesome. I love my wife but she'll kill me if she ever saw this.

Another thing that drives me mad is that she NEVER, ever scrapes her plates before they go in the dishwasher. She'll call me at work and say, :The water is just sitting at the bottom of the dishwasher and won't drain!"

I'm not surprised! It's probably clogged up of popsicle sticks, bread tags and pumpkin seeds!
