Imagine your house is on fire...

Your wife, kids, pets, and any other important living being have gotten out safely. You get the opportunity to go back in and save anything in your house. What are you grabbing?

For me, that 46" Sony LCD is staring me in the face, and I can't pass it up. I know the common answer will be something of sentimental value, but I really like that TV.

Well all of our important info is in a fire proof safe box, I would hope my parents grabbed that.

It would probably be my computer HDD. I can get a new TV with insurance money, but I would lose all my music, pictures, videos, random crap if my HDD burned up.

That's not a bad thing to grab. I'd probably do that.

Unless I have a halligan and a line.....I ain't going back in if everyone is out.
But thanks for keeping us in business!

Okay, gun to my head....the old photo bin. I still haven't gotten to getting them all onto the PC and remotely saved.
        Gotta do that.
Too much history to lose there.

As long as I can get myself, my girl and my dog's out then I'm good for the most part. Everything else is replaceable. That's what insurance is for.

Cheater. You can't take two things out of the hypothetical fire.

My collection of sports DVDs. It's a time consuming and sometimes expensive hobby so i'd freak if it all goes away in a fire.

My laptop with my flash drive plugged in.

I'd like to say something sentimental, but to be honest, there really isn't anything that I can't lose, but my laptop is the most expensive item I have, so it makes sense to save it.
