Well in the wild, the strong take down the weak. So in reality that gazelle was probably old or had something wrong with it anyway and that was why it was caught. That is how I remember it explainned to me on the nature channel I was 6 years old, LOL.

I'd eat it. I see nothing different in eating a lion vs eating a cow.My football alliances: E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles AND Hokie Hokie Hokie HiComment

Uhhhh, no. Hunting deer around here is almost a necessity in order to keep the population counts down because they don't have the same natural predators they used to.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

Exactly. Back in Iowa we had more than one deer hunting season per year. They are EVERYWHERE, including face down on the side of the roads because they always run out into traffic.Comment

And the best way to save the lions, paradoxically, is to farm them...and eat them. That would give people the incentive to protect them. This strategy is credited with helping to revive the buffalo from near extinction.
The current ban on the selling of lion parts is just stupid. International laws aren't going to change human nature.Last edited by Chip Douglass; 06-25-2010, 05:54 PM.I write things on the Internet.
