Mike, thanks for the second update. So glad to hear you may be able to bring your son home tomorrow. I'll still keep my thoughts and prayers with you and the family, for sure.

Great to hear man. I will throw in a bonus prayer tonight. Not going to start a debate or anything here but, IMO prayer works. Too many examples to list but, that is awesome man.

Glad he is doing better, the power of prayer is awesome and cannot be measured. YOur faith seems strong and I am so glad your son is making this recovery. I will continue to pray for your family and his recovery. You and he will have a good testimony going forward and this will touch and change peoples lives.

I am extremely happy everything turned out ok. Freak accidents like this happen all the time, alot of people do not come around.

But as far as prayer goes, whatever makes you happy. I will take my chances with modern medicine.

I dont want to get too far into this but those who ask for prayers during difficult times arent exactly ignoring modern medicine either.

Alright, I hate to do this but... sounds like the kid is doing well, which is fantastic. However, this thread is starting to delve way too far into the "religion" realm, which is, and always has been, against the TOS.

Again, to the OP, I'm glad your son made it through!
