How old was the kid and where did this happen? The guy that pulled him off him was his friend it looked like. I don't care if I saw that I would handle the situation, but I would have to be careful, because if I beat his ***, he can sue me. But I would have just scared him. This happens a lot of times in my class, but I don't handle it the guards do! I used to at my old job. I was trained in pepper spray and MAB holds. Now that was a fun hands on job.

This guy obviously has some balls beating up an old lady who is sitting down and driving a bus. Some people have no respect, if that was me getting hit, I would make sure he is in jail for a while and he get's sued for everything he has.
I can't believe this is the society we live in, I hope someone teaches him a lesson.

Even if that was my friend and I wasn't going to hit him to stop him I at least would have gotten a hold of him with some type of force to actually keep him from doing anymore damage. I mean when I watch that video it's like jeez grow some balls and use some kind of force if your really going to do anything about it because, if not you might as well just let him beat her till he gets done with her. I just think it's crazy how if you don't know someone people are to scared to do anything about it. If it was your aunt, mother, or grandma etc., most people wouldn't think twice about knocking his lights out regardless of the outcome.

Overall the whole I'm going to grab his arm a few times and maybe he'll stop beating this old lady in the face technique just doesn't fly with me. There is just no way I could sit there watch that happen when I know I could do something about it. You don't even have to beat him up, at the least restrain him with some type of force and hold him down. Then if he swings on you then your protecting your own self but, I just don't have the heart to watch something like that happen. I'm just sayin' if your ever witnessing something like this and your going to step up, step up big or just let it happen.

There should be no in between.

I agree, but I am sure that other kid was a trouble maker too. And you don't know they might be in a gang and that other kid is a leader or something. I give him some credit for at least trying to help, but all those kids on the bus should be charged too, for not at least helping and making him stop, before he decides to stop.

While this is a sad and disturbing video, there is something of note to take here.

The lady is tough. Whatd she take, 9-10 straight punches to the face with no protection? After its all over, shes calm, calling the police. Im sure shes crying and hurt, but it didnt show through the video.

The kid is just not very strong and kinda pathetic in his own right. Not only does he pick on an older woman who is just sitting down, he doesnt really do any damage to her (from what we can tell in the video)

That's a shame. The first kid who tired holding him back didn't put much effort into it either. The other thing that pisses me off abouthte video is that if you listen to the female inthe background shes defending the guy who beat the lady. She yells out, "She almost killed his *** when she hit the brakes" or something to that extent. I don't see how you could try to even defend someone when they do something like that. I don't understand how a lot of people in my age group do some of the stupid crap they do.

I did not even watch the video based on the responses. I know I'd get upset. It reminds me of one I saw that upset me, it was a guy in line at a pizza place and a woman gets all crazy on him for making a comment about her cutting in line. She leaves and gets her huge BF then the BF proceeds to knock out the guy and rob him while everyone is watching and does nothing. Bunch of pusses I say.

Very true. The least that could be done is holding the person back. There is no crime for preventing a person from causing another damage. If you're not hitting the guy, there is no charge.

I'm more frustrated with the guy attempting to hold back the puncher but making a half-hearted attempt at it. Then he just stands there and watches all of this happen.

All I know is if I saw an older lady getting rocked by some dude, I'm at least grabbing the woman and pulling her away. You'd be amazed how contagious things like this could be. One person jumps in and more people are willing to help.
