Things like this make me absolutely sick to my stomach. Sadly, the guy will probably face minimal criminal charges, serve some time, get better educated on how to be a criminal while in jail, and get released back into public to do far worse.

Gutless people is why 9/11 happened (not trying to make this political at all) because those people on the plane got held up with a knife? Really?

You seriously want to go there? The people on the planes didn't know the terrorists were going to fly the plane into a building and kill everyone. Up until that point, most hijackings resulted in the hostages being released unharmed. Flight attendants were trained to have passengers stay in their seats and comply with the demands. No one had any idea what the terrorists had planned, except United flight 93 whose passengers fought back. That's not being gutless.

3. We live in a society where people only care about themselves. But you cant realy blame us because well the law so sue happy. You dont know what you can or cant do.

Also, the kid apparently is bipolar/schitzophrenic, so that makes this one slightly less shocking to me personally. That dude hauling off and punching that teenage girl is way worse to me after reading that. Still shocking, but kids with severe mental problems are capable of a lot of things and I have trouble holding them that responsible for their actions.

Agreed. People are so quick to blame random disorders, syndromes, etc instead of manning up and taking responsibility for their own actions.
