    Same here guys. Once upon a time, I thought that I wanted to be a Radiologic Tech. However, I was never that interested in Biology and the sight of other's blood makes me want to pass out. I made it up to the point where we were about to dissect a cat before I finally backed out and called it quits.

    As for me, I'm really not sure what I would want to do. I pretty happy with my job now, despite it being boring. However, I've always wanted a job where I could be left alone for weeks at a time and rarely have someone bother me. Now that I have a job like that I kind of miss being challenged though.

        I have learned that studying Disciplines like engineering or mathematics make you very marketable to a diverse range of companies.

            I'd go back for my MS in CompSci if I could... but right now, I've got a job and school isn't on my radar. Plus, if I went to get my MS, I'd get my Ph.D., and then I'd teach. But I'd like to work for a while before I do that.

                    I was studying criminal justice while I was in the military, got about a year and a half into it and stopped, when I got out, I was going to be a cop but somewhere in there I just lost the drive to do it, I really just asked myself do i really want to do this? and I didn't so I went and got an associates in Multimedia Communication when I got out. I looked around for some jobs and there just isnt anything going on so now I got a year left for my Bachelors degree in Communication and Journalism.

                    who knows where I end up from here, though im turning 29 next month, when Im 30 ill have my degree and I need to get serious. My wife is younger than me, has a degree in Accounting and is just working. I have no clue what type of Job I am going to end up getting when i graduate.

                    maybe someone here knows something cool to do with that degree.

                        I'd still do computer engineering...well, probably the computer science degree in the engineering school they have now.

                        I wanted a degree from the Engineering school, and ended up getting raped by math and other high level classes I didn't ever need. Now they have a less engineering focused degree in the Engineering school, that would have been perfect for me.

                        Otherwise, I'd prefer not to be as much of a slacker (I got a 2.85 without really trying), not fail the couple math classes I did, etc.

                        I did have a lot of fun in college though, tons of great memories, so wouldn't want to change things too much.

                        I'm also in a career I like, so can't complain.


                        I'm just glad I'm not like my friend who got a Art History degree and thought she wanted to go to nursing school but recently decided at 28 that she wants to do 2 years of pre-reqs and then 4 years of vet school

                                    Pharmacy school.

                                    The baby boomers are going to need TONS of drugs. There are always places looking for pharmacists. I think the pharmacy schools are strategically limiting the amount of pharmacists that graduate every year. Plus you can make major bank right out of school.

                                        I'd like to go back to school at some point and develop more skills in IT and website design.

                                        I already have degrees in Marketing and Sport Management, but I'd love to improve on my computer skills to stand out even more. Eventually I'd like to work in a D1 Athletic Department in Marketing/Public Relations.

                                            One of my friends is currently going to Oregon State for this for these reasons. I had thought about taking that route, but I like to write.

                                                very smart. My sister in law and a good friend are both pharmacists and they earn great money, have very flexible work hours and seem to love their jobs.

                                                Basically anything dealing with the baby boomers / health care is going to be very much in demand for the next 2 decades. I think i'm nicely placed as an audiologist.

                                                    Dissect a cat?!? I'd have been the guy that went "You really want me to cut into this poor kitty?!??!" and then ran out of the room puking after the first cut.
