Re: Do you worry a lot?

That's exactly a good description of what I go through too mgoblue. Like for planes and things of that nature I want to give myself like 3 hour buffer instead of 2 but every time its like overkill. When I go to concerts or sporting events I want to show up like 2 or 3 hours early, all my friends think i'm nuts.

However one buddy of mine refused to do that for a Bengals game and planned it so we'd get there 30 minutes before kickoff. We hit traffic and had to park really far away and missed nearly the entire first quarter. It's things like that incident that feed into the worry for next time for me.

I'm like that when my wife and I go to the movies. I rush her into getting ready so we can get there well in advance so we don't have to sit right at the front. More often than not we are the first people there.

Dude, same thing with my g/f and I. If we have a 7:15 show, I want to be at the theater pulling in the parking lot no later than 6:30pm and get my drinks/popcorn and in our seats by 7pm. She's like, what's the rush, we'll make sure to get there by 7pm... Argh...

Last time we saw a show we ended up sitting really close to the screen. It doesn't bother me as I like sitting pretty close but she didn't like it. I told her - well next time let's leave earlier. Maybe she will but I get the feeling it'll be the same situation, LOL.

I don't worry at all. Why worry. I don't trip on the things I can't control, so I don't stress over those things and the things I can control, I control, so I don't stress over them. I have been doing this for the last 5 years and it works really well for me.

Inside my mind, I'm always worrying. I dwell on the stupidest, most unimportant things.

But I do my damndest to hide every bit of it. It doesn't always work, but I've had many occasions where people will tell me how calm I am under pressure when I know inside my mind I was freakin' lol

I have this incredible blend of worrying/stressing about every single thing yet not giving a **** at all. It's remarkable, and I don't know how to describe it. Seriously.

I wouldn't worry too much about your worrying . Seriously though I would not be too concerned about it until it gets to a point where it causes problems in your life and interferes in your daily life. When that starts happening you may want to go see a professional.

Actually, I am exactly like that. I am always thinking of all the possibilites in my head before hand. Wish I wasn't like that, but it's just my nature.

I am the exact same way.

I worry about everything, and even though most of the things I'm paranoid about tend to be proven true, I still consider it a problem. Despite all of that, however, I tend to keep everything internally and no one can really tell when I'm sad/depressed/worried in my head because I can always fake a smile that people believe is genuine.

I never used to be this way. ****, up until a year and a half or so ago, people used to think I didn't give a **** about anything, would call me the most mellow person they've ever met, etc.

Over the past year, though, I've become an anxious and paranoid little ****. If I have a headache, it's automatically something worse. Stomach ache is automatically a huge problem. In the end, I usually end up making myself sick just thinking about whether or not I may be sick....so in the end I am sick. It's disgusting.

It's also the one thing I'm currently trying to break. Need to get back to my old, worry-free self before I go bat-**** insane.

The only thing that worries me is paying the bills on time. I imagine If I had a job that I enjoyed and payed well I would be perfectly content in life. Basically I am trying to get over to Iraq or Afghanistan to pay the bills, So yea I worry more about money than getting blown up.
