Taking everything into consideration, golf. First you have the PGA, then when you get too old for that you go on the Senior PGA. You play a 'sport' that doesn't really break down your body and lets you travel the country (although paying income taxes must be a bitch) and you can make millions and millions over the years.

Golf. You truly can somewhat control your paycheck by doing well in tournaments. And, as said, you can actually present yourself to the public without getting hassled to death.
But the one I would most enjoy would be baseball as I play baseball in HS right now, and trying to get picked up by a team right now as a starting pitcher.1925-1926-1930-1934-1941-1961-1964-1965-1973-1978-1979-1992-2009-2011-2012

I don't want to move to Europe, though.
I like it here. Well, not here specifically because Wisconsin kind of sucks, but I like America.
You're right, though. I should've clarified. Football player because it nets me the most AMERICAN ***.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Most NFL players are completely unrecognizable to all but the most diehard fans, I'd say the NBA would fit that bill better (for "american ***" anyway).Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

If we're going after these ($$$$$$$$$$$$$$$), then that is the obvious choice. If you go by player salaries, the top three earners of 2009 were F1 drivers and it wasn't even close. You could become the only American driver currently in F1!Comment

If i had to add an "other" option it would probably be a professional surfer. You get to travel the world partying, banging super hot surfer chicks and the top guys earn very good money. Not to mention all the free billabong and quiksilver gear.Comment

Re: Choose: Which pro athlete would you be?
No, not IMO because of the fact we've only heard of something like 1 or 2 guys dying from MMA. I don't think we've never seen anyone have brain problems or anything like that where as you see that in the NFL and boxing and to an extent wrestling.
To me MMA is just cuts and bruises that are going to heal over time. Nothing that's really going to permanently screw with your life.
Plus it would just be too awesome to get paid for knocking and subbing dudes out.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

MMA is far from just cuts and bruises. This is why many fighters only fight once every few months.Bears | Bulls | Cubs | Illinois | #Team3Some

Re: Choose: Which pro athlete would you be?
I'm not sure if this post is serious? So all those guys who end up with permanent brain injuries from boxing won't happen in MMA? Any time you get a concusion your brain is getting mashed against the inside of the skull and is often bleeding. Doing that repeatedly over a career will not just "heal over time". Any sport where there is a significant chance you will be knocked out cold every contest will result in permanent damage to some of the participants over time. It just has to.

And look at the whole aspect of knockouts in boxing. You're supposed to keep getting up until you can't get up anymore. With MMA, the refs almost always do a great job of stopping the fight at the right moment before major damage can be done.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches.
