Went to watch a high school hockey tournament tonight, saw my HS play for the first time since winning state last year. Domination
Although something saddens me about the student sections...they just aren't into the game. It's like they are there just to socialize. I graduated only two years ago and we used to have killer student sections, chanting the whole game and heckling the other teams.
Now they just stand around texting, only cheering when our team scores. It's a shame school spirit has gone in the pooper.

Yep same here during football and basketball season. Football wasn't all that loud when I played my senior year, but basketball was nuts. Then I go to a game after graduating and it's quiet as hell. It's a sad sight. I mean when I was there, we got mentioned in the paper for being *******s to the other teams.

I went down a one way street today and noticed that everyone but me was driving the wrong way. Idiots.

I remember going down the wrong way of a one-way before. I couldn't figure out why the car behind me was honking as I turned. Then I saw three lanes of traffic coming my way, including a cop, and had to carefully back up once it was clear behind me

edit: I also just purchased my first pair of man slippers My bedroom doesn't have a heat vent and I don't like using the space heater too much, hopefully these help

Yep did the same thing. The other cars were looking at me all funny trying to tell me, but I was only 18 and knew better. Then I figured it out and almost crap brick when I saw a big bus coming my way.

I remember about 8-10 years ago on my way home from work back when I was in school, I hit the exit ramp only to notice a car was trying to enter using the exit. I was pretty terrified but the shoulder was wide enough to let me go around... sadly the car didn't turn around and apparently entered the freeway going the wrong way

One day I'd taken the Pitt shuttle up to Giant Eagle. This particular route has a single shuttle on a half hour loop so it only gets to Giant Eagle once every 30 minutes. I finished my shopping with several minutes to spare before the shuttle was due back and was out there waiting and waiting until it finally shows up ~17 minutes late. I asked the driver what was up and he said some idiot was sitting in the middle of a one street facing the wrong way thus blocking the bus and couldn't back up.

Also, when I was in college there was this block U-shaped street on campus that was one-way and I would regularly see people backing around the street. It's like they thought that if they were at least facing in the direction traffic was supposed to go then weren't doing anything wrong.

The dumbest thing I've ever done with a car is have someone hit me, get out of the car all angry and stuff, and then I found out they hit me because they couldn't see me. I was driving at night with no headlights on and didn't even notice.

I went to college with a guy who nailed a cop because the cop didn't have his lights on, and he STILL got a ticket. He totaled his truck too

Sucks when you fall behind on this thread. Almost pointless to read what has past but there is always a gem post/thread link you miss.
