Why don't you like it? I've read so much negativity about the game, but when I play I actually enjoy it (I play with commentary off). I mean I participate in those special madden sucks threads just to be cool, but it's not THAT bad.

Just boring. The gameplay is tighter thanks to patch 5. but in football I gotta have commentary pre-snap, and after snap. It's just clunky and garbled. Hell, I told phil frazier on meebo I would've hung onto the game but the commentary makes it feel unfinished.

It simply bores me. Hell even if it were "perfect sim" with these presentation features, I'd still just have no damn fun playing it.

I'm glad I didn't buy M11 this year. Typically I buy it every year. Actually I think this is my first year not buying Madden. But if what people say is true, that's it's worse than M10, then it would've lasted me a week before I sold it because I wasn't much of a fan of M10 either.

If it were me- I'd fire the devs. Or the suits who were telling the devs what to do.

I think Ian can make a great game, but ea won't let him. I"ll stand by that. Scrap it, start from scratch and go from there. The game has always had flaws but it's so dry with this lame commentary I can't even get into it

Well I can't argue that, the presentation is seriously lacking, and is probably the reason I always listen to music while I play instead of the commentary. All that sim and arcade talk aside, I think it plays pretty well. I tried the "my skills" option for a bit and had a lot of close battles. There have been enough comments in madden threads that I can't really say anything about the game that hasn't already been said (multiple times), but it's a decent game to me.

Oh yeah, the color commentary is horrible and beyond annoying. I totally agree with the clunkiness too. It just feels utterly agonizing trying to get through a game. Even the menu layout is bad. I'd heard horror stories about how bad the next-gen versions of both NCAA and Madden were compared to last-gen, but I find that those stores were unfounded with regards to NCAA 11 which is a great game.

If linebackers quit swatting passes, the "psychic db's" were gone, and play action worked, and OL ratings mattered, it'd be GOAT (outside of presentation)... but they won't, they aren't, it doesn't , and they don't.

Totally love ncaa. Same gameplay pretty much same issues, but the immersion factor makes it 2nd to none

Yeah, man NCAA 11 is awesome, one of my favorite games, it's only a few tweaks away from CHoops 2k8 status.

Tonight, I learned 5 things

1) If you're going to be in charge of a city-wide hayride in December, checking for rain may be a good idea if you're going to be flying at 55 MPH

2) It doesn't matter if everybody and their mother is going, at the end of the day, you're going to a hayride, almost the most pointless thing ever

3) Girls in sweatshirts CAN be hot, and no doubt cute

4) I sell out for girls. Completely. Like, no doubt.

5) Being with a girl on a hayride can a creepy "relational" tension to it.
