Damn internet!

Yesterday my internet was down all day and all day today until now.

I called my cable company and the technical support had me on the phone for 45 minutes to no evail.

It didn't make sense. He detected that my modem should be able to connect but couldn't. He tried to hook me up wireless but we couldn't get on that way. He asked if I had a spare ethernet cable to try in case mine was faulty. I tried that, no difference.

He asked if I had another cpu to try the internet connection with. I suggested my PS3 and I hooked it up and the web came up instantly.

He then said it must be a problem with my laptop. I took it to my cpu guy this morning and he hooked it up to the internet instantly in their shop. He checked a couple of things on the laptop and saw no errors or anything.

And now tonight I just for the hell of it tried to log in wireless like they showed me last night (I'm clueless with technology) and it logged in right away.

Why can't I get on with a wired connection? Hopefully this wireless feed will be good for a few days because the cable guy can't come till the 27th.

I dunno bout your situation but this kind of thing happened to me and my ISP had to give me a new modem as the one I had gave out.

I hate being sick so much... I rarely get sick, but when I do it hits me hard.. I haven't missed a day of school in 2 years though.

I hate this stomach bug, I have no energy, can only eat crackers and have been a resident of the toilet all day. Just amazing.

I dunno bout your situation but this kind of thing happened to me and my ISP had to give me a new modem as the one I had gave out.

That's what my computer repair guy told me. He said they will probably have to get me a new modem. What doesn't make sense is that why would the same modem work when I hook it up to my PS3?

That sucks, hopefully it clears up soon. Incidentally, apparently not even a 24 hour intestinal bug can quash my appetite. I had one about a year and a half ago and still ate just as much as I would on any other day.

Question though, when you tried it on your PS3, was it a wired or wireless connection? There have been a few times when I couldn't get on the internet from my PC (wired) but could on my PS3 (wireless).

Same here, I haven't been sick in a long time. Although if I do get sick, it usually is just a small cold or something trivial like that.
My mom and sister always seem to have the worst sicknesses, but my dad and I never seem to catch it, or not get it near as bad, that's how it's been as long as I can remember. Interesting how that works out.
Guess I was blessed with a strong immune system or something. I've never even had the flu.

It was wired into the PS3. I don't have a router.

I woke up at 1 today.

I just stopped playing Red Dead Redemption. 5 hours of straight gameplay. The only reason I stopped is cause I had to pee.
