Thanks man, but guinea pigs are so fragile and shouldn't probably be living as long as she has. We have spoiled her and kept her very healthy for over six years now. I'm just wondering if this little issue was to be inevitable, or if us being away for two weeks and not being able to manage her health for ourselves was the primary cause.
She's going to stay at the pet emergency hospital overnight and will be on oxygen. My mom called and asked if I wanted to visit her, but I know that seeing her in that condition will not help me at all, especially if that would be the last way that I ever see her. I'm holding on hope for the night and hope she lasts through tomorrow at this point. It's scary to think how quickly she deteriorated.
I mean you look at this picture, and you give me a reason why I shouldn't be sad as hell right now.

This is probably better suited for the football forum but i'll ask this anyways: Why the heck do football helmets keep flying off players' heads? Okay I know some of it is due to the force of the hit but it sure seems to me that a good deal of it has to do with not doing up the chinstrap and other such encumberances properly.
