I didn't know Cusefan was Michael Vick. Can I get an autograph?

Re: Off Topic 2010
Every time I see a fan at a baseball game dive out of the way of a foul ball even though they're sitting directly behind the plate and are completely protected, I laugh.
I realize I'd probably do the same, because it's coming right at you (until it hits the netting/plexiglass), but it still looks funny to me.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: Off Topic 2010
Eh, I think preseason can be interesting only if you're watching your favorite team. That being said I did watch a little of the Seahawks game last night. I gotta say VY looked impressive in his time out there. So I'm just going to go ahead and say it, and it's nothing against you, bcruise. But I've seen a lot of people posting about how great it is to have preseason back. Preseason NFL is garbage. I'm a big NFL fan, but I have no time for preseason. That is all.
Sorry to be so blunt, but honestly, just get me to the regular season without any major injuries, please. It's all a big money grab for the owners. They can get the same thing accomplished by having intersquad scrimmages.
Anyways, preseason is more for the coaches then the fans as they have to evaluate their depth chart and who to keep and not to keep.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Off Topic 2010
It's all interesting if your baseball team has been out of it since April.
I'm one of those people who can't wait for preseason football and enjoys watching it. I can't remember how 2003 felt, but I suspect I probably didn't enjoy watching preseason football quite as much as I do currently.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2010
I'll watch my team in preseason football while the starters are in, and maybe some of the backups, but I never watch a full game. And I never watch other teams. It's hard to watch football at such a low intensity level.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

I love preseason. I love seeing all these guys play that I won't normally get to see.
And most importantly, it's football. And preseason football > no football.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: Off Topic 2010
I think I would definitely care more if it was proven that preseason is a good indicator of what the team will perform like in the regular season. Unfortunately, its not, so I can't even sit and care to evaluate players too much.
I still watch a bit, but I cant fully get behind it.Comment

Now I remember why I haven't played Madden online since like 05. **** going for it on every 4th down. Maybe I'm just a bitter loser. But he did go for it on every 4th.
Also could have something to do with my having no high speed interwebs at home, but I don't normally play Madden online even when I get a chance, which happens occasionally.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

I go for it on 4th and 1 a lot, because that's what I believe nfl teams should do. 4th and 2 ,depending on the situation and 4th and 3 if the field goal would be more than 53 yds or so.Now I remember why I haven't played Madden online since like 05. **** going for it on every 4th down. Re: Off Topic 2010
We have an unwritten rule when we play at home or with some buddies.....not allowed to go for it on anything more than 4th & 5, unless it's in the 4th quarter and you're down.
It's been that way for us since like, Madden 94, lol.Comment
