Re: Off Topic 2010
That's cool. I've known 2 Doberman's in my life, 1 mean and the other nice. The mean one was owned by my next door neighbors when my family first moved into the house we lived in from 1989-2008 and was always barking at everyone and nearly bit one of my other neighbors fingers off. Aside from her owners, I don't think anyone was too upset when she died. The nice one was owned by some other neighbors a few years later and was quite friendly. She did have a habit of gently grabbing people's wrists though as if she wanted to lead them somewhere. She also apparently had a puppy crush on my Newfoundland as one day she got out of her yard and ran straight to our back yard where our dog was (they had met previously). Doberman's are one of those breeds that sometimes gets a bad rap, but this just goes to show you that it's all in how they are trained and brought up.Last edited by BurghFan; 08-15-2010, 12:36 AM.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII

Since were on dogs right now, who would win in a dog fight, Pitbull or a Wolf.
I gotta imagine a Wolf would downright eat a pitbull or any other dog, with the lone exception being a South-African Ridgebacks, they kill lions

Re: Off Topic 2010
So I'm just going to go ahead and say it, and it's nothing against you, bcruise. But I've seen a lot of people posting about how great it is to have preseason back. Preseason NFL is garbage. I'm a big NFL fan, but I have no time for preseason. That is all.
Sorry to be so blunt, but honestly, just get me to the regular season without any major injuries, please. It's all a big money grab for the owners. They can get the same thing accomplished by having intersquad scrimmages.Last edited by ImTellinTim; 08-15-2010, 02:13 AM.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2010
Id say wolf. They have all that thick fur.
That is what saved my dog from a pitbull attack. My dog was taking a leak when he (and I) were blindsided by a neighborhood pitbull. My dog is a border collie/black lab/retriever mix. His thick mane of neck fur saved his life. Also, he messed up that pitbull pretty badly. The pit had locked onto my dog's lip, and my dog had him by the throat. The pitbull was bleeding heavily after the scuffle. I think my dog thought they were just playing hahaha
so... from watching that fight I'd have to say a Wolf would own a pitbull the majority of the time.Texas. Football. All. Day.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2010
someone broke my crockpot. It won't heat up.
Now I have to turn on the oven in order to cook the roast I had laid out. Didn't want to use the oven as it heats up the house, but darn it I want roast.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment
