So what the best over the counter medicine to take for heart burn. I've woken up around 4am the past two mornings with pain in my upper stomach. My guess it is it has to be some kind of gas. Any suggestions?

I used Prilosec OTC for a while and it does work, but then I went to Perscription Zantac, then I tried Pepcid AC. Now I'm just flat out back to tums. For me every single one of these meds with the exception of tums gave me heart palpatations. I couldn't stand it.

Now though with excersize and dropping 20 pounds I suffer much less frequently from heart burn. So my tums use has dropped dramatically.

Thats horrible. This girl i went to school with does a cover of The Final Countdown that is just sick. They have a youtube version of it, but the quality is ****. You can't hear nothing. But here another song of her. Chick got a hell of a voice.

Her name is Katie and the band is The Blue Eclipse. Check out their Myspace page they have some of their songs on there. They are kind of like a Evanescence or Lacuna Coil

Prevacid is hands-down the best one I've used. Take it once a morning, and I rarely, if ever, get heartburn anymore.

I get heartburn nearly every night. Had acid reflux when I was a kid (yeah) and no matter what I eat, I still get sick often. I get these little acid reducers from Costco and take them but if I want something faster, I get the extra strength Tums that are like, 500mg a tablet.

I should really stop going to bed at 1:30am...but it's ABC Family's fault. If they would show their hour long Whose Line Is It Anyway show at 11pm instead of 12am I would be a lot fresher in the mornings.

I should write a letter to the editor and tell them to scratch the idiot drama shows (Pretty Little Liars??? I thought this was supposed to be a FAMILY channel??) in favor of my comedic choice.

I used to watch that show every night, until one night I was like "Hey I've seen this one before." I managed to watch every single episode of it
