Re: Off Topic 2010
I'd leave. Sounds like a great opportunity that could lead to even bigger pay once they expand, not to mention free food.Well I work at a bank now (teller). I would be going to a butcher shop and pretty much running their numbers. I deal with one of the owners daily (the wife) and we get along great. I was the one to actually sent my friend there and he loves it.
The shop hasnt even been open a year but has taken off like crazy. There isnt another butcher shop for about a 100 mile radius. They are at the point of expanding based on the huge demand for them so thats where I would come in. They are already carrying everything from meat, milk, ice cream, hamburger buns, and vegtables so they are about to expand into a small grocery story. People love them and I dont see them having any troubles.Comment

Time zone fail on both our parts. You beat me out of work by a half-hour (if you meant that 5 is when you get out of work). Just shutting down now, then it's almost an entire weekend of really getting into NCAA.
Cheers. Hope everything works out.Comment

My sweetheart (that's what I call her instead of wife) is so amazing. I couldn't have asked for such a loving person...
SpoilerWait...is that okay to say here?

Re: Off Topic 2010
Today at Subway:
I go in, ask for Oven Roasted Chicken on Italian Bread.
She gets the bread. Says Chicken Teriyaki right? I say no, oven roasted chicken.
Then when we get to veggies I ask for lettuce, she puts it on, then I ask for onions and she goes "tomato?" I say no tomato just onion. She puts the onions on, and then starts putting tomatoes on after. WTF? This isn't the first time I've gone there and this same girl starts putting stuff on my sandwich that I never asked for and in this case stuff I specifically said I don't want.
It's not the biggest deal in the world, and I understand that working in Subway is probably a pretty boring job, but could you at least pretend that your listening to the customer a little bit?Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Re: Off Topic 2010
I don't really see the big problem though Jet. It is not like you are not right there watching her do it. Now if she made this when you weren't there then I can see a problem.
That is what is nice about subway you can see when they mess up. One time I was watching them put something on a didn't want, so I waited just when she grab the mustard and said real loud "NO!" Freak her out and the customers out. It was great I told her "sorry I had mustard."
