I can't decide if being called "dear" by a ~16-year-old hostess is a good thing or a bad thing. Not sure I've ever been called that by someone under the age of 60.

Well I was off 3 weeks ago and I am off again for another week. And then I go back to work for another 2 weeks and then I am off for another week. Then I go back for another 3 weeks then I am off another week. Man I love my freaking job! Plus I get for being off.

The months of may and june were just like this form me. Tons of time off. Now however, it's different, everyone gets married august-october then holidays kick in so I won't see any lenghts of time off until january.

Btw...what happened to DickDaleWood? I noticed a thread he started in the Madden forums and he was listed as a guest.

Did he change his name?

I hope he comes back soon. He just got promoted for pete's sake....

I hate this month.

My lease ended on the 1st of August and I don't leave for Chicago until the 19th so I had to move in with my parents for half a month and even though they went on vacation I can barely stand it. The suburbs are awful.

My friend called me and told me there's a banging party at a club tonight and I'm thinking I could make it, but then I remember that instead of a 5 minute walk and a 20 minute metro ride it's a 30 minute drive and an hour metro ride and I decided to stay home.

The nearest bar other than Buffalo Wild Wings is about 10 miles away and that includes driving through a "city" (all the traffic, none of the good parts).

The only good part about staying here is that it makes going to DC, NYC, or Philly a million times better.

Based on the economy and the direction everything is headed, I'm wanting to sell my car & house.

I could get a free 2-bedroom apartment to stay at and get a fuel efficient car.

My bank account would grow ridiculously if I had very few liabilities. I'd bank almost all my salary then I work tons of overtime because it's easy money.

I might have to eat some costs early but I'd come out ahead in the long run.

On another note, tonight has been a great night for me. The girlfriend is gone to a painting party so I have the house to myself. I stopped on my way home from work and picked up a Chicken Shawarma plate. After I ate dinner, I played NCAA 11 for about 4 hours. Now, I'm about to continue catching up on Breaking Bad Season 2 and eat some Ben and Jerry's American Dream Ice Cream and call it a night afterwards.

Oh what a boring yet, fulfilling life I lead.
