I just woke up to a real bad dream. I dreamt that I was executed Mexican death squad style and instead of dying I kept regenerating to a point that I wasn't quite dead. I was literally being shot at for hours on end in the dream.

Needless to say, I can't sleep now.

I just woke up to a real bad dream. I dreamt that I was executed Mexican death squad style and instead of dying I kept regenerating to a point that I wasn't quite dead. I was literally being shot at for hours on end in the dream.

Needless to say, I can't sleep now.

That sounds really like an annoying dream to have, I hate waking up to bad dreams. Come to think of it, I don't think I have had dream for like 3 months now, I don't know why, but I usually only have a handful of dreams in a year. I wonder if that's weird or not.

I once had a dream that some guy was coming after me with big hedge clippers (manual kind that work like scissors) and trying to cut the top of my head off. I woke up and the sides of my head felt weird for a couple seconds.

That sounds really like an annoying dream to have, I hate waking up to bad dreams. Come to think of it, I don't think I have had dream for like 3 months now, I don't know why, but I usually only have a handful of dreams in a year. I wonder if that's weird or not.

You dream every night, but the vast majority are forgotten. On average we go through I think 6 REM (dream) cycles per night. I think the sooner you wake up after a dream, the more likely you are to remember it.

Haha yeah, usually in dreams where I get shot multiple times and it doesn't really hurt. I lay there playing dead for awhile and wake up thinking damnit I wanted to see how that played out.

No, but i have dreams where I had a lot of cool ****, or a better life in general, then wake up and then feel sad because the dream life was better.

That, and dreams about losing teeth, screw those.

Not that kind of dream, but I've had dreams where I've woken up before the end of it and was thinking "dang, I really wanted to see where that dream was going" then I'd try to fall back to sleep and continue it.

I hate waking from those dreams and realizing I didn't actually win the lotto.

Another dream sequence I get is falling asleep to sportscenter and dreaming about playing in whatever sport is being spotlighted when I'm out.

I've had dreams where my life is a TV show. I've worked in The Office, been a doctor with the people on Scrubs, fought criminals with Chuck, and went to class with the cast of Community.

I might watch too much TV.

Is it possible to do that? Wake up from a dream and then go back to sleep and pick up where you left off?

Nah....I only do that if i've had a sex dream (really rare these days) and I wake up in the middle of it.

It's rather irritating that you don't have more sex dreams.
