Kind of reminds me of those parents who named their kids Aryan and Hitler. Or those people who said they were going to order a confederate flag cake for their babies birthdays.

I can't believe Ewing let his emotions get the better of him in the Strasburg thread. What a shame.

Y'know it would've been better if they had used the quote but put "-Anonymous". I mean, the quote itself isn't bad. Hitler was probably the most evil political leader in modern history but he was a strange person in that he did things that we'd look at and admire such as being a vegetarian and not smoking.

Oh well...The principal or whoever edited the yearbook should've known better.

It's a big if, but I believe Hitler would be looked at as one of the greatest leaders in the history of the world if he wasn't anti-everything. He was a rhetorical genius.

The only reason he was able to take over Germany was racism, fear, and hatred.

He only managed any turning around of the economy through illegal militarization.

If Hitler "wasn't anti-everything" he wouldn't have been Hitler. He has the highest body count of anyone to ever exist and started the most deadly war of all time.

The only good things about his existence were the creation of nuclear weapons and making it probable that nobody like him will ever take power of a major state again

Been out all day. Had to help my mom take her 130 lb Newfoundland to the vet. He had surgery to repair a luxating patella and a torn tendon last week and had to go get the staples out. He's supposed to be taking it easy for 6 weeks, but he was acting like he hadn't even had surgery 2 days after the operation. Anyways, I had to help with getting him in and out of my moms Duragno. Poor baby is traumatized because every time he gets in the car it's to go to the Dr.s

I know what you mean. I spent Monday waiting for a package from UPS. Tracking info said it went out for delivery at 7:20 AM EDT but it didn't get here until about 6:05 PM.

Same here, especially since I can't drive and I don't need all that fancy stuff they usually have as prizes.

To me however that was the lesser of the two evils, how can that man be sentenced to 51 months for what he did? (Rhetorical question, I know how and I hate mandatory minimum sentences).
Technically the 9th circuit isn't bound by the DC court's decision. They can use it if they want, but they don't have to follow it.

To me, the only real invasion of privacy is going on to the man's property, but if the car was sitting outside then he can't really reasonably expect a high level of privacy with respect to his car. Anybody could go up to his car and touch it and look inside.

Additionally, the only information that the GPS was gathering was information that could have been gathered by simple surveillance. The policy reasoning behind a situation like this is that a GPS does the job of a police officer trailing a suspect, but at a fraction of the cost and is more effective.

With that said, they probably should have gotten a warrant, but I suppose at the time there wasn't enough probable cause.

I totally I agree with you, but I'm saying if given the same position as a "good guy", he may now be considered among the greatest leaders in history.

Of course, you're right in that Germany wouldn't have been strong enough to be considered a power without him breaking the Treaty of Versailles, militarizing and what not. So my hypothetical would be unlikely even with a "good" Hitler.

I just believe he was wasted potential with his charisma.
