28 and living at home in this economy to better yourself, I see no problem with it. However what I do see a problem with is people in their 40s still living at home not even trying to better themselves, but yet their mom is working 2 jobs supporting them and their kids.

Funny thing is, I'll graduate school with a ton of debt, and then have to get a masters ...and not make a ton more than I'm making now. But most non-profit agencies and churches want you to have a degree, so I'm gonna finish up my AA and get my MDiv, hopefully

Honestly Jesse James didn't really fit in Sandra Bullocks world anyway. He is a street kid. And like the old saying goes, "You can take a person out of the hood, but you can't take the hood out of them".

Obviously Jesse James, was bored out of his mind trying to live in Sandra Bullocks world. Where as Kat is more in the line with his lifestyle.

To Jesse James, yeah, it seems so.

Woke up, went to the meeting was greeted with doughnuts and gatorade.
Got 3-4 Oreo Balls from one cheerleader.
Got a huge slice of cake from another.

And it's not even 10:00 yet.
                  Same here.

It's our big rivalry game today, so our school lockers got decorated and filled with a ton of candy, I think I had 10 100 grand candy bars, 2 packets of sour patch kids, a box of fruit snacks, a huge bag of pretzels, gatorade, and starbursts in every nook and cranny.

I've got a big game tonight, our rival is trying to tie the state record for consecutive wins, they have 41 right now. I think we have a decent shot of knocking them off, we beat a 10-1 team from a year ago 35-12 last week.

Sac-town mayor gets a new SUV and people upset over it ? That's nothing, when I lived in Indiana, the Mayor of Gary has a Hummer with 24 inch rims on it all on the city of Gary tax payer dime. And if you ever been to Gary, Indiana that place looks worse then Detroit no lie.
Considering the Sac-town mayor is former Cavs and Suns All-Star guard Kevin Johnson, he probably doesn't need the city footing the bill for his ride.

"To pay for it, the city of Sacramento used funding initially scheduled to replace two police vehicles; an aging Ford Expedition and a forklift used at the police department's property division."

                            Apparently he does.

I disagree. Peace of mind is brought when one is content regardless of the amount of wealth possibly (or already) gained/lost.

Wow I didn't know KJ was a local politician. Good on him! Though that is a bit of a PR blunder in some ways. Things like celebs in political positions are always a bit amusing to me except in the case of Clint Eastwood who was a mayor in Carmel, California for a term. I bet crime went down and things were pretty civil during those 4 years!
