here is my vision of the future: no laptops, no computers, no mp3 players, no tvs, no electronics at all. except for ones cell phone. it will be able to project its screen on any flat surface, project a usable keyboard on any flat surface. literally everything you need electronically in your pocket

I'm sitting here unable to sleep for some reason with a cast on my left arm due to a broken bone and torn cartillage. This is after breaking my foot earlier this year. This calendar year alone, I have broken 7 bones with a total of 8 fractures. (When I broke my foot, there were two fractures on my 1st metatarsal). The pain is just unbearable. I'm taking medication, but the side effects of opiate pain meds aren't spectacular. Sadly, I can't take ibuprofen and I would need too much aspirin or acetaminophen to kill the pain without destroying my liver. Psychologically, it's really killing me. It's hard to perform at a top level in my job and right now the smell coming from my cast is atrocious. In my life, I have broken 10 bones which is 5% of all bones in my body. (Broke my left tibia, right big toe, right hammate bone, right intermediate cuneiform, right medial cuneiform, right lateral cuneiform, right navicular, right cuboid, right 1st metatarsal, and right schaphoid bone). I'm tired of being hurt. I forget what normal, pain-free life is like.

Well, my copy of NCAA 11 is broken. I think I moved the Xbox slightly and it now has this ring at the back of the disc. Do any other consoles do that to or is it just 360's? Any who, most people would be pretty pissed but i'm not. Luckily I got the 3 dollar warranty that EB Games offers and it will last a year. So I can exchange it for a new copy and get the new warranty. I wonder if I can NHL 11 for a straight up trade. That would be nice but it won't happen.

Never, ever, move your Xbox with a game inside, at least while it's turned on. Bad news all around if you do.

Funny you brought this up because I was just at a friend's who got a new 360 Slim that came with Splinter Cell: Conviction and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. He puts in MW2 and decides it would be a good idea to lift the 360 up as he's playing. Just as I'm about to say "Hey, that isn't a good idea", you hear the disc making sounds like the console is eating it for breakfast.

The good thing is he didn't care much. I know if that was me I would be pissed......or if it was me I wouldn't have lifted the frickin' console up while I was playing in the first place.

Anyone ever take spend time on vacation in coastal Maine in the fall? I've been there a few times in the summer, but me & my girl wanna take a mini-roadtrip in October, and we're pretty much aiming for somewhere on the Atlantic coast. I just liked the idea of Maine cause it looks awesome in the summer, so I can only imagine how nice it looks w/ the leaves changing colors
