I went with my wife to see Robin Hood. The movie was so long, but pretty enjoyable. The problem was that some 4-5 kids came in in the middle of the movie, sat in front of us (the theater was almost empty) and kept using their cellphones for Facebook and stuff, and were also talking. Some lady gave them a notice but they ignored her and even made fun of her a bit. I asked them to not use their phones and it helped...for 2 minutes. Then some of them started going out and back in. Eventually, my wife talked to them and they all went out and never came back.

Re: Off Topic 2010
So we've been having power outages around where I live today. I had to go get gas earlier and it went something like this.
Gas station 1: "Sorry, we're out of power."
Gas station 2: "Sorry, we're out of power." Me =
Gas station 3: "Sorry, we're out of power." Me =
Gas station 4: "We've got power..." Me =
"However, we don't have any gas." Me =
Gas station 5: "We've got power and gas." Me =

Re: Off Topic 2010
By being one of the few gas stations that didn't lose power at all today, and I think they were low on gas in the first place. One of the busy gas stations by my house lost power at around 11 this morning and didn't have it back by the time I got there around 7.
Anyways, I'm kind of surprised you've never seen a gas station run out of gas. It's happened multiple times around me in the last 10 years. Sucks but there's not much you can do about it.Comment

You like a Subway Melt untoasted?
Maybe the fact that it's a subway melt that has them reflexively melting the cheese.

Re: Off Topic 2010
Yeah, I actually thought of that (it being one of the only ones with power) after I posted that. But still, I've never seen a gas station run out of gas ever. Might have something to do with the fact that I've only lived in a small town, and then a town near Canada with a giant oil refinery in the town next to it. Gas doesn't have to travel far to get to our gas stations here. And to the guys that live in hurricane alley. That sucks. It's why I live up here where the only threat is 2 feet of snow, and that's actually kind of fun because I snowboard.By being one of the few gas stations that didn't lose power at all today, and I think they were low on gas in the first place. And Beantown. Subway still has microwaves and they know how to use 'em.Last edited by ImTellinTim; 08-09-2010, 09:22 PM. Reason: Do you guys get sick of my run-on sentences?Comment

Re: Off Topic 2010
Man, I need to do something. Obviously I'm bored, I've made about 20 posts tonight.
Anyways, I find it amazing how much sports fans ignore the obvious rampant use of PEDs in the NFL. Did anyone see Brian Cushing's comments today? Not one thread about it in the Football Forum. If a baseball player came out with that lame excuse, everyone and his mother would be jumping down his throat. They don't even test for HGH (and neither does MLB...unbelievable btw), and people just seem to gloss over the obvious fact that many top players have to be juicing.Comment

IS there any testing at a college level in the US? You would have to think many of these players would have been using HGH / test etc since they were in high school if they were a big time prospect.Man, I need to do something. Obviously I'm bored, I've made about 20 posts tonight.
