Damn, I just had one of those: "Holy ****, I'm an idiot" moments.
Went to go take some stomach medicine, go into the cabinent, pull out some medicine take a pill put it back.
I stop and look at the bottle and realize that, instead of taking the stomach medicine, I took my Prevacid for a 2nd time today. Now, I don't think it's really that big of a deal since I took the first dose at 1030 or so this morning, but that just means I'll have to skip tomorrow morning's dosage and will probably have to deal with my heartburn tomorrow night.
Plus, my stomach was already ****ed up so hopefully taking a second dose within 24 hours won't mess it up anymore tonight. There's no big warnings about "Do not consume more than one pill a day" and a quick Google search didn't find anything, so I am going to assume I'm safe...but damn, I'm an idiot.Comment

Yeah don't worry about it, I've done this. It's ok to take 2 in one day, and it's also ok to take your dose the next day, too. Doing it habitually obviously would be a mistake, but once is fine. I think that only works with painkillers and cold meds, not antacids. And what you call "good" is one of the main reasons I hate taking medicines. I don't like anything that messes with my head and makes my thoughts less clear. Part of me wanted to click on the Nazi Human Experimentation article at the end, but the smart part of my brain thought that the US article was probably like watching a kid's movie compared to what's in the Nazi one.

Seriously every friday you guys come in here and start talking about stuff I literally talked about in school that day. Today in Sociology we were talking about different past experiments on people that aren't ethical today. The Tuskeegee experiment was actually one that was listed.
