Carlos Boozer just hit a turnaround with 6 tenths left to beat me by one point. Worst part is I was up 11 with about 2:30 left and then couldn't make anything down the stretch.

I can't see the video-game theme appealing to many people. But if it isn't too over the top or anything and the bar has a good atmosphere, good staff, and good prices, hey it could work. Good luck.

NBA 2K11 only been out a week and that forum is already starting to become unbearable. I been in it for a week straight now and I have noticed everytime somebody ask a legitimate question or find a legitimate problem they get the following answers most of the time:

1. Play on the Sim setting.

2. Da Czar said play fundemental basketball, watch his videos.

3. Mike Wang said.......

4. Ronnie said......

It is as though people are afraid to admit that game DOES have a few flaws in it and that you do have to edit some things in that game. It is like WOW.......

That's why parents tried to get me to do when I needed teeth pulled. They gave up and just took me to the dentist, but I did succeed in getting some ice cream and NHL 98 for the SNES.

Report those...they don't have to be "violations" if threads are getting ridiculous or fanboyism is rampant.

The report dialog should change then. It says to only do it for spam or other things of that nature.

Either way, I report anything I don't think adds anything to the site. It's up to the moderation staff to decide if I am correct, or if I'm a complete idiot.

I'm assuming most of the time, I'm a complete idiot. I show that enough anyway.

I understand that everyone is pretty much in love with this game, but a lot of things are bothering me about it when I play. What GotMadSkillz described is part of whats pushing me from the game though. Just a bunch of "you just aren't playing real basketball" type posts. I hate that I can't even do an association with the team I want, becasue thier star player has some of the dumbest animations leading to blocks or steals anytime I try a layup or dunk. If my best friend still lived up here and gave me someone to play I might like it, but playing the CPU is terrible (their AI >>>>> than my teams AI) and I hate the broadcast camera too much to play online. Also I couldn't give a damn whether or not Jordan is in the game contrary to most.

I don't care about Jordan either. I mean, it's cool and everything, but I haven't even touched the Jordan mode yet. And I'll agree that I'm sick of seeing people responding to the fast break issues with "just gotta get teh 2k10 out of your system" or something.

But I'm not going to let that ruin the game for me.

Well, you could always PM a mod or two that shows online in the active users...I mean we want to keep the site enjoyable for everyone, and constructive

True, but I like the report mechanism more than a PM. Click the red button, say something snarky, click go, and in 20 seconds, you're on your way.
