I am so tired of stereotypical commercials........The new 5 hour energy commercial grinds my gears.
A slim mom coming home from an office job, carrying 2 PAPER grocery bags, got 2 kids, a boy and a girl and the husband sitting in the living room on the couch reading the newspaper. Typical american family stereotype.
1. Why the mom have to be slim hmmmmm ?
2. Why she has to be coming home from an office type job ? Why she can't be coming home in a walmart uniform or public transit uniform ?
3. Not many grocery stores still use paper bags anymore.
4. Why is always a boy and a girl ? Why always 2 ? When nowadays your average american family have 4 or more kids.
5. Why the husband didn't go to the grocery store ? Who reads hard copy newspapers ? Shouldn't he been reading the news on a laptop or ipad or on his smartphone ?
Those type of commercials always did bother me ever since I was a kid because I could never relate to them, it wasn't my world.Comment

Why do people from Gary,Indiana say they going to Chicago like it is a cross country death defying trip ? When it is only a 40 minute drive ?
When I lived in northwest Indiana that was something that always made me laugh when I heard somebody from Gary, Merrillville, Crown Point, East Chicago, Hammond, Hobart say they going to Chicago tomorrow like they were going somewhere far. It is only 40 minutes away from northwest Indiana.
But hoosiers from northwest Indiana always say it with such emphasis as though they crossing time zones or going cross country to cali or something. Sometimes I just want to slap those people and say shut up, you just going down the damn expressway across the border.
Any of you know people that do basic things but always make it seem much bigger then what it really is ??Comment

Bah, at least some of you guys have tasted success within the last 5 years. All my favorite teams have sucked in that timeframe. At least the Blue Jays look to have a bright future.
I want to say the Bills will shock the world and beat the Ravens but even i'm not that crazy
