Re: Off Topic 2010
I'm confused now with the way you guys have been using the
emoticon. I always thought it was supposed to be a nerd adjusting his glasses, but you guys have been using it in a way suggesting its supposed to have something to do with seeing hot women or something.

I used to use it for the nerd thing too.
But it can have different meanings when I use it. This instance, was adjusting the glasses to focus more and be attentive.

Re: Off Topic 2010
quick question. In college soccer, do they not hand out cards? (yellow/red) I'm watching the UofL/Prov BE tournament finale and I've seen some wicked collisions and such but yet not one has been given a card.
Good game.
And I still don't understand offsides in soccer.

Re: Off Topic 2010
Yes.

The blue forward on the left of the diagram is in an offside position as he is in front of both the second-to-last defender (marked by the dotted line) and the ball. Note that this does not necessarily mean he is committing an offside offence; it only becomes an offence if the ball were to be played to him at this moment, whether or not he is in an offside position when he receives the ball, as he could receive the ball in an onside position but he'd still have committed an offside offence.

The blue forward in the penalty box of the diagram is not in an offside position, as he is behind the ball, despite the fact that he is in front of all but one of his opponents.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2010
So glad football ended today with a playoff loss. We had first and goal at the 2 when the play I designed would have tied it at 6, but well I was blown off and our QB called the one play we run and well we didn't score. Out of 11 games this was the 9th game our QB played drunk or hungover. I know it's all in fun, but I'd just like to play for a team who calls more than one play on offense.
One of the teams in the league folded, so I am planning on putting my own team together.Comment

That was a very good game. Would've hated to be in the Louisville locker room if they lost, especially if I was the one who committed the penalty.quick question.
