I do pretty well with read option, even when reading the DE/LB correctly it still gets blown up sometimes, which seems about right. I'm using Playmakers' sliders.

Is that why read option doesn't work? Having never played football I just notice "wow the cpu can release from a block whenever it wants, meanwhile my d-line sucks"...

I also hate play action.

That's why running out of the Shotgun in general is very hard to do in the game, not just the read option. The CPU D-lineman can release their blocks at will, and can also accelerate to just about any speed. I can't even say how many times my 87+ Speed QB's have gotten run down by Defensive tackles.

The read option is also hampered by D-lineman suction tackling, Acceleration and speed means nothing when a player who's not even moving, can literaly warp from a yard and half behind to make a tackle on a player in full stride.

Every year it's the same thing really, the defensive line just responds so unrealistically. In NCAA 10 a D-Lineman recovered one of my fumbles and outran Oregon State's James Rodgers 75+ yards for a TD.

Truth, but holy hell that was ridiculous. It literally went from just us to my friend's apartment being FILLED with randoms, and not only that, but most of them were dudes. Lamesauce.

When I walked down the stairs this morning I found like 3 cigarette cartons, a bunch of beer cans, and a cup full of rum and coke sitting at the bottom. Oh, and someone ripped down part of the wall.

Good holiday weekend. Spent the weekend at my in-laws and did family Thanksgivings on Thursday and Saturday. Played in a "Turkey Bowl" tackle football game on Friday - the first tackle football I've played in about 9 years - it was a lot of fun. Only went out to shop once to buy my wife an easel for painting and saved $100 on it. Back to work today...

So my dad fixed the sound system in my truck yesterday (like a '98 S10). Yay dad, right? Wrong. He fixed the audio, but now I can't see what gear i'm in. So I spent 5 minutes trying to figure out what gear i was in. When I finally found drive, it felt like 2nd and when I got to 40 the motor sounded like it was straining.


How the hell do you manage than by messing with the fusebox?

I don't see why he won't let me drive the F-250. it just sits there.

So I come to work and find that my boss gave me Dec 22-27 off. Wow. Unless I ask for it I usually have to work the day before christmas, and the day after.
I got a little mini vaca coming!!!

Wow five days of in December, good job. I have been in the business for 26 years and most of the time have to threaten to quit to get time off in December. Enjoy the time

Assuming it is automatic, don't you just go from park 3 clicks down into drive?

I didn't even know people looked at the gear indicator.
