In 51 games against Top 10 teams in Virginia Tech football history, VT has won a grand total of 8 of them.

15.8% success rate.

The highest ranked out of conference team we've beaten was WVU in 2004, when they were ranked #6.

Louisiana is overrated. Especially, Baton Rouge. If you're not a LSU fan and/or alcoholic then there's really nothing special to do. I would've been really fun in my early 20s though.

Don't get me wrong, BR is much better than the small dry county that I grew up in. However, if I could have my same job and move to Mobile or Birmingham then I'd do it in a heartbeat. The main reasons being Mobile is closer to the beach and Birmingham is closer to my friends and family.

So I stumbled upon this guy's twitter account...apparently all he does is ask athletes for autographed memoribilia. He says he's an active duty solider. I don't doubt the guy, but come on. That's lame to ask hundreds of athletes on twitter for autographs.
