I hate going out at night to take the dogs out to pee, always bring out the handgun or shotgun with me just in case

What animals do you have around you?

We actually didn't have coyotes until recently. Then awhile back I came across one while I was walking my dogs and had to go get the security guard for the business by my house to drive his car by the dang thing so it would run away. Ever since then I don't walk the same area I used to once it starts to get dark out, and I don't walk at night period. I see them walking across the street quite a bit though, but thankfully they've never come to my yard or fence yet.

My dog chased 10 deer out of our yard a few nights ago. Boom. Coyotes are nothing.

I have no problem with deer, they run away from me. Coyotes following me isn't my idea of fun, however.

Yes I agree. If I had to choose to fight one, I would pick deer. Coyotes would tear me up.


One time a deer started hissing at me and was scraping its foot against the ground like it was about to charge like a bull. I wasn't about to get truck sticked by a deer, so I got out of there

Coyotes are a nightly deal, atleast 3-4 packs roam around trying to coax animals out. Mountain lions have been known to wander around the city at times too. One guy actually trapped one in his shed and got the OK to put it down himself since it killed livestock more than a few times. Luckily no wolves, or any known to be around here.
