Re: Off Topic 2010
I don't need it anymore, but I did my assessment testing for school last week and stayed off OS so I could study. Being on OS is way too much of a time drain for me.
I think I did pretty well, though. Think I only signed on once before yesterday over a period of about two weeks. It was pretty tough at times.
EDIT: Looks like I went from 11-20 to 12-4 and only signed in once right after the Boise State/Nevada game.

Dish losing signal so easily annoys me constantly. It was worse before I moved, the old place would be a perfect day sunny 70, no wind, nothing, and half my channels were still in and out.Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

The guy who was hit for swearing was hit because he went overboard + he's a new user. We're not going to ban people who have been here for years on the first shot because of a few ******s. If that were the case, I would have gotten rid of myself a long time ago. He had no leeway.
.....but yeah, let's try to not speak of those who have been pink'ed.Last edited by TheMatrix31; 12-05-2010, 10:49 PM.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2010
yeah, my parents have it. I bought Directv when I bought my house and have never thought of getting anything else. My parents just switched from cable to satellite recently, and decided to go with Dish due to it being cheaper.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

SILVER SPRING, Md. - Fearing a possible wintry mix on Saturday, managers at the Maryland State Highway Administration ordered two tanker trucks to spray a salt brine solution on the Capital Beltway early Friday morning. It is common for major roadways to be "pre-treated" for winter weather.
Unfortunately, the trucks were loaded with a solution of magnesium chloride, not salt brine. The magnesium solution froze on the roadway. Maryland State Police counted 11 accidents. Four people required ambulance transport to local hospitals.
At one point, the entire outer loop of the Beltway was closed to traffic. SHA trucks were deployed to spread salt and sand on the roadway in an effort to give motorists some traction.
"We want to apologize to those that, not only were injured [and their families], but also to those who [were] caught in the backups," said SHA District Engineer Brian Young.
Young promised a full investigation of how the wrong chemical was loaded into tanker trucks at two different SHA facilities.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I've had Dish for 2 months now. It went out on the first night I had it for like 20 minutes. LOL. However, it's been great since. It went out last week for 10-15 minutes, but it was storming out. I actually like it better than what I had with Comcast.Indianapolis Colts
