LOL, they prefer Wendy's here. In college when I would partake in um, certain plants, it was a known fact to stay away from a certain Wendy's to avoid the inevitable freak out when 8 cops walked in the door.

From my experience, retail = hell.

Your right about that. I worked in retail for four years. Which meant long hours and working holiday's, etc. We worked 7am to 10pm on most of our "big sale" days. I didn't have a weekend or Holiday (other than Thanksgiving or Christmas Day) off for four years. I eventually worked my way in to management which meant only one Vacation Week per year. That week also had to be approved by mt boss. After a year in management, I asked for a week off at least three times and was denied each time because we were "too busy".

Also, management didn't get "sick days". If for whatever reason you got sick and missed a day. You would have to make it up at a later date. And that's not even mentioning dealing with the public, bickering salespeople, office people/houseman who weren't reliable, etc.

Anyway, I ended up getting offered a 8-5 M-F job. Where I make about 20k/per less and I gladly accepted. Now I have 2 vacation weeks per year plus we received 4 hours of sick time each month. So by the time I figure in the hours I work now compared to my last job I think my hourly rate is about the same. Plus, now I have a job where I can stay on OS all day at work whereas before they didn't even have the internet besides interoffice email.

The last infraction I received was in September of last year, expired 3 months later.

I got it for trolling and I don't even want to post it because it's such an embarrassing post. Let's just say I couldn't have been more immature.

Without a doubt that comment would've gotten you banned if you posted it this September.

That was definitely an infraction that was worth getting.

Only infraction I ever received was for a fight I got into with someone in the "Heath Ledger Dies" thread that Millennium gave to me. I've also been celled twice.


But really, Revis, I would've banned you on the spot for your infraction...while laughing the entire time.

I've been given a carte-blanche by my parents to buy my Christmas present to be "from them" today. Which wouldn't be so bad if I had a clue what, if anything, I wanted. Nothing is striking my fancy. On one level, this is kinda sad, lol.

So I had to take my car in to get new tires today, and Firestone didn't have the tires I wanted to get. So they gave me some other tires for the same price, but then didn't have those in stock and had to go to another store to get them. Should have been done about 2 hours ago, but now I'm still waiting.

On a completely unrelated note, I had a plumber come fix my leaking outside faucet the on Thursday and got pretty lucky. I didn't completely understand what he was saying, but it had something to do with him not seeing a second pipe that needed to be replaced and because of that I saved about $500.


Money really needs to grow on trees.
