I bought myself a Black Riddell Revolution helmet, to create this for my display case;



Already have the decals, and the chinstrap, just need to prime and paint matte black and I'll have a sweet display piece.

Also, I made a reservation to borrow this lens for the Rutgers/Ohio Football game at the end of the month.



A pretty sweet lens, that retails for 2k, I get to rent for 60 bucks for 5 days.

Regular Revo, I wanted the Speed, but I'm not dropping that much for a display piece.

I got it for a steal off of eBay for about 70 bucks with shipping.

That's not bad at all...I have some logos left over from high school (we took them off the helmets after each season) and I suppose I may do the same. How hard was it just to find the shell?

Not very, there are quite a few up for sale on eBay, some have some scratches and scuffs, some look fairly new. The one I picked up was never used, because the guy bought it a size too small and was just trying to recoup a bit.

I will say the one decal I want, I haven't been able to get, and it's the BELIEVE decal that goes over the facemask. I was in contact with the Assistant AD for Rutgers, and apparently they aren't being sold, and they only give them away to HS's. I know my old HS had them last year, I'm almost tempted to stop by and see if I can grab one there.
